Okay well this may have already been discovered, but I thought it was worth sharing, I was playing an experienced KL player today and, in the beginning of the match he would do KL's roll (sorry i'm unfamiliar with the button imput), and he would get that bar of meter, later in the match he tried to roll as i was trying to do a 2,1, and i stuffed him out of the roll. Next round I tried this and I completely stuff him out at the start of the match. I've played a few KL's since then and the majority of them did the roll at the start of the match, just something I though I'd share with everyone.

Kung Lao's roll is F+3.

I hope the Kung Lao you play can find a way around it.

I'm not sure what you are implying, that you can 2,1, the roll before the animation ends? If so, yes, it's possible.
