at first yes, but look how they treat their games!! i mean its been a LONG time since i see someone get really i mean really hyped over a NRS game since MK Trilogy... but i guess its just me getting way to old... MK trilogy was not without its flaws but atleast from what i remember it was pretty fun and hyped to watch...

the way NRS treats its games has a certain lack to finness i do not enjoy.. I have no problem losing to Superman or even BA god knows they are not the best of matchups for my NW, still i do have fun playing and im ok with losing, but when a game comes out and everyone is so hyped that they get to play their favorite characters just to see that 5 months later either your BA or Superman you have little to no chances of making out of top 8s? something is clearly wrong... everyone knows it is...

cause lets look at it, if you take out from the game BA and Superman, you have a decently balanced game, still with some issues but somewhat balanced... yeah sure youlll still have your Zods to tweak and your Wonderwomans but the rest of the cast is pretty much on a very similar lvl some are better some a little worse but it would be very playable for all characters...

What do i know anyway, but its just my humble opinion thats all feel free to disagree

It's hard to get people to come out week after week when the game is in the state that it's in. Lots of WNF people that showed up today have pretty much decided they are going to play it casually until the patch comes out. It's pointless to keep playing when all the work you dump into your character isn't worth it.

Every week we wait, this game is dying in SoCal. We had 30-40 people with lots of unique characters, now we get 10-15 people and 3 of them are Superman players, and all of them are going to be getting top 3. Why play the exciting and fun characters when the boring and straightforward ones do their job 100% better. The patch needed to be out 2 weeks ago for the SoCal Injustice scene to survive.

I really hope that the Delay this patch is getting is of worth , cause at this point i just feel that NRS just wants to be done with this game as soon as possible...
More and more it feels like Mk 9, injustice is just another fiasco... and it saddens me cause as a DC fan i love the fact that i can pick up my fav characters and play them in a FG, the prospect of it is amazing and i love it since DC hasnt had a good FG in such a long long time... but like this with all the supermans and BAs i dont think this game will last much longer...

Im sorry to hear that in Socal this game is on a verge of being cut from its roster of games you guys play, but i believe this is a Hell of their (NRS) own making and as such i feel no pity for it or them

Our scene is dead, Superman and Adam are too good, and this game is getting dull. I doubt the patch will fix anything. NRS has waited waaaaaaay too long. Everyone's already quit. And who's going to want to come back to a game that doesn't reward fundamentals or smart play anyway? Once you take a step back from the game and realize what it is, it's pretty mediocre. And I say that as someone who fully supports this game, and continues to go to WNF every week.

EDIT: I just realized I went on a rant without even answering the question. The reason they're not streaming it is because we get no entrants.

yeah you guys over at WNF are probably up to your necks with Superman and BA every week i totally understand your pain... the only Injustice stream that i can watch and actually have fun are the guys over at the GGA, i mean it feels like the variaty of characters over at their weekly really makes it interesting and fun to watch... just this last installment had me going for so long with Emperor_Max and his Bane and PPJ with a variaty of characters i really enjoy watchin.. it was so fun to watch them nuke it out... the game should always b e like this.. long range of characters and diferent play styles for them... they have Bane, Cyborg, Doomsday, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, ofc BA ocasionally and Superman i think they have very few but still a i know they dont have a large large amount of ppl there but for a Bane to get to GF? and his play style is amazing that for me was really hype and fun to watch... wish it was always like that

What a depressing thread. Most of the Singapore scene has already started to drop this game for Jojo's. Xian wanted to pick up this game seriously but he hasn't had the time with all that traveling, and he won't bother if it turns out that no one is playing it. Our South East Asia major champion would rather play FFXIV than this game, and another of our players the Soul Caliber runner up for Evo 2012 got bored with this game because of the Superman match up.

This game pulled in people who would never have touched an NRS game, but it's already losing them, and I fear they'll never come back. It's a damn shame.

what annoys me is that our casual tournament that we hand on Sunday had tons of character diversity and was all around very enjoyable. . .Because we banned superman

forward to wnf and i was disinterested within 20 minutes of being there, to the point that it took me over an hour to decide if i even wanted to enter

you know when you go up to a party and its a sausage fest, thats how i pretty much feel about torneys and superman... and a godmdan F23 fest al day everyday of the week

Pretty much, and even then I don't think the patch will drastically change any MUs. If anything they're just giving characters more ways to go into auto pilot mode. The game still won't be as fun to play.

As long as the patch nerfs some of the really annoying derpy characters enough where they stop being an annoying menace, I will still keep with the game, at least for casual online sessions a couple times a week.

The game has a lot of positives that I can overlook its derpy playstyle. Specifically the character design, there are just a lot of really neat and diverse characters in this game. Grundy, Bane, Lex, Lobo, Zod, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna, Nightwing, Sinestro, Raven, Harley, Shazam, Green Arrow. It's just a shame that all the popular top tiers are all so bland, one dimensional, and just plain boring.

Obviously Superman is at the top of the blandest. I don't mind Superman being top tier in the game, or even the best, its actually pretty fitting. But the problem comes with the fact that he is also the casual magnet character, they specifically made him super easy and brain dead to play, so the casual DC fans have an easier time adjusting. Making the easiest character in the game also the best character is just not a great idea.
On top of that, he is both boring as shit to watch, with awkward combos, and lame playstyle, and boring to play.

I don't think I have ever hated a character in a fighting game more then Superman.
