That’s cool. Never would have thought that. But ya I feel like something is incomplete about that move. Too much recovery on hit I think.
Jack the AI combos to 30. You'll find all kinds of neat things that happen.
I've seen them use in the corner: 44~bf3amp 124 [ender]

they also do some odd punishes that i didn't think possible. but yeah... almost everytime the AI reads a tech roll out of the corner she blasts them with the blood-splosion and back into the corner they go.

Is this something that has been discussed before? Because it seems to work, and it's pretty dirty. I just tested B3,4, S1, 44xxdb3amp and it seems to work too.
That's awesome. Midscreen 212, 4xDB3amp works too, guess it's to much of a damage loss midscreen, but the option is there

Sunlight and Blood give me strength.
She dominates in the corner with her range, being cornered by Skarlet its basically the worst position any character can be, she pretty much outranges and her overhead low mixup its kinda annoying to deal with, the overhead might be slow but she can react to people standing up and hit them with B3

She is also more around neutral rather than huge setups, pretty straight forward play.
Late to the party, Bern hung up with Kotal and since he is lower tier I'm wanting a co-main until DLC drop and I can't find any cooler character than Scarlet in the roster.

Currently I'm in love with the Heart Peirce Tournament Variation and prefer it over the Blood Drive.
Blood drive is good and all being able to Restand into +4 but her mids being 13f makes it kinda meh. Controlling the blood speed is really cool for setups and Oki but I am in love with her Parry and Teleport.
I'm finding they are helping when I lose the neutral to regain my footsie range and o4 help stop close up pressure which is good because even though she is great and built around keepaway and push out certain characters have the tools to bypass that.

Do you have any tips?
what are her best Krushing Blow combos?
Best BnBs and corner setups in Heart Pierce?
I played her a bit in the BETA and it seems she is quite different but not sure if I'm missing anything. So far I can tell she lost:
Life steal from BF4(3.6%) in her Blood drive var and BF2(7%) seems to lose quite a bit in certain combos making it kinda worthless for the bar compared to full screen launch from DB4.
Her Restand seems to only be +4 and not +7.
Are there any combos worth ending in BF2-AMP?
What's your best damage in corner so I have an idea and what is her best string to stagger into throw in the corner? Do you generally work them to corner and stay out of reach mixing them with B2/B34?
 
Really a fan of Heart Pierce .....

Any good mid-screen combos other than 212,212, 4,4 DB4?

I know corners will be able to utilize some different variations but I’m struggling in the lab finding anything different to string together effectively.

1,2,4xxDB4 is ok and easy to do and so are other small strings but looking for any other longer strings mid screen to punish gap closers.

I know this variation and her move set in general favors zoning and such but just curious as to mid screen play outside of the generic combo listed above for that class.

Skarlet is such a cool character design, but man, she is in contention for most boring combos in the game.

Ex BF3 needs better recovery and needs to launch ppl straight up rather than fullscreen.

Every single Skarlet ender sends characters fullscreen, so we have too little less to work with, i personally think BF3 its her worst universal special move and could have been better, same as 44 launching ppl to the corner.

I tried her out last night and thinking to my self that she'd have a lot more options if the Blood Burst AMP launched upwards midscreen. She just seems so limited combo-wise. There are many characters that fall into that category, though.

She definitely is limited combo wise but I think that is from her formula being string, string, string~special. Where most other characters usually cancel into special moves in the middle of their combos. I think she is close to perfect balance wise, but I don’t think any character should have a universal special that is nearly useless so I completely agree with bf3 amp needing to be a launcher. The other thing that I think would help is if the double b2 KB did something. I feel like if you get that KB you should actually get rewarded for it. Most characters have at least one KB that launches when she has 0. If people weren’t ok with that one launching then at least make it do DoT like her b1,2 KB, or something to actually reward you for hitting it. I think that’s about all I would change on her besides some whiffing issues.

Not only does the double B2 KB not launch, but it also does very low damage for a KB. I believe 160? That's only slightly more than a regular throw. I feel like that KB launching would make sense for her. BF3 AMP launching midscreen would be a nice change, as well.

Maybe unnecessary but it would be nice for the move to have some sort of usefulness. I don’t think any character should have a special in their base kit that they never use.
 
her kit is perfect & the most well designed character in the game. she’s not OP, but she can be fantastic if played to her strengths, her gaps are there but you can counterplay if you think they’ll flawless block. good example of a fighter that needs no nerfs or buffs.

Many characters get 30-40% off S1 midscreen. I don't see how spending 1 bar for a 30% combo would make Skarlet overpowered. If anything it would give her some variety in her combos which she's severely lacking atm
