I feel the comeback potential is in many things. The fatal blow, krushing blows, not dying of chip dmg if u have defensive gauge. The wake up options are solid but some characters have a very effective up 3 or up 2 range/hitbox wise where others are hot garbage. I don't think Up 3's were intended to catch jumps so well but some really do.Would it be MKX all over again? Or would U2 create better gameplay like maybe comeback potential or something?
Good example. Geras' up 3 also doesn't match the norm. It hits not only in front but around his entire upper body. Correct me if i'm wrong thoughIt's bad enough you can't even backdash away in time in the corner against some. Geras damn U2 wakeup is fucking beast. U2 needs to be stuffed, otherwise that would be braindead
Last breath mechanic is also a comeback mechanic.Would it be MKX all over again? Or would U2 create better gameplay like maybe comeback potential or something?
Hell fucking no, you have delayed wakeup, rolls, and in a lot of cases a safe invincible mid. If anything wakeup u3s need to be unsafe as well as u2's being non invincible. There's already really strong wakeup options in this.Would it be MKX all over again? Or would U2 create better gameplay like maybe comeback potential or something?
Geras' U3 does hit all around him but the range is pathetic. Less than most characters' standing 1 jabs. It's so short that you only really need one setup to punish both Geras wakeup attacks on a read so you don't have to think about which one he does.Good example. Could you tell me how to punish both optionsGeras' U3 does hit all around him but the range is pathetic. Less than most characters' standing 1 jabs. It's so short that you only really need one setup to punish both Geras wakeup attacks on a read so you don't have to think about which one he does.
