Yes, it is. But they made it possible. The F2P announcement came with no good news. Nothing at all. They didn't have to say it this early. So why did they? And why did they so poorly?

As I said, they know better. MS knows better. People are wondering why there's this huge negative press about it. It's because they put a sign on the door that said "crybabies welcome". That's all.

And for the record, who in the history of nickel-and-dimeing has ever come out and said "we are intending to nickel-and-dime" everyone?

Well all the X1 hate these last few weeks combined with Double Helix's terrible effort to explain how the transactions will work made people suspicious and justifiably so because all Freemium games usually try to force you to pay over 200 bucks to fully enjoy them

There are already tons of games that use the download free trial-upgrade to full game model, so that's not an issue.
