Actually in the reboot he has both eyes, then at the end of Batgirl (I want to say #19?) it gets... put out again.

The new 52 changed a lot for certain characters and actually did reboot them... Batman comics on the other hand? A lot of the prior stuff is from the old universe.

Apparently a lot of this is explained in the upcoming Batman story arc: Zero Year. It explores Bruce Wayne becoming Batman as he's the only hero they haven't done this for yet.

That's why I don't really like their approach on few things in the new universe. It's simply incosistent and when it comes to the Batman comics it's like their pulled things they wanted to reboot out of their ass, while left other stuff just the way it was. It's really stupid.

So far for e me they have only really been hamfisted with Batman Inc. and whether or not what happened before was canon or not. (and the post-reboot reboot of Stormwatch but I don't talk about that in case I explode from sheer rage)

He never killed anyone innocent. At least not that I'm aware of. So it's more like how he was portrayed and not who he has killed. (And I like him much more as an anti-hero. As a matter of fact, I never considered him as a villain at all. It's just that some people don't like "heroes" who are killing the bad guys, while I love that)

Yeah, killing innocents is sort of the line I think, you can get away with a lot as an anti-hero so long as you don't kill innocents. Punisher killed someone by cutting open their stomach and stringing his intestines out over some tree branches and let the guy either bleed out or get eaten by wolves.

Arguing that Starfire would have a more unique playstyle than Power Girl is worse than the naughty thoughts reason.

The only thing Starfire can do that Power Girl can't is her language power (which is mostly irrelevant in a fighting game). Both fly, have super strength, and fire energy beams (PG from her eyes, Starfire from her hands). But then PG has all those other Kryptonian powers too.

So any moveset you can come up with for Starfire would pretty much apply to Power Girl as well. Whereas you can come up with moves for Power Girl that Starfire can't do.

Heck, you should be arguing for Firestorm (especially since he'd have even more crazy particle effects) since he could also do everything Starfire could game-play wise, plus a whole lot more that Power Girl couldn't do either. Or basically any Lantern character who could also do everything Starfire could and much more. Or Captain Atom. Or Dr. Fate. Or Stargirl. Or Etrigan (though he can't fly...which isn't that relevant in this game since a lot of flyers only got an air dash anyways). Or Argent (actually Argent would be pretty awesome...).

It's "comical" that Batman considers him as family now, if we think about how many people Red Hood has actually killed. I think there was an instance, where he went to jail and killed over 85 prisoners by either beating them to death or poisoning the food on a large scale.

So funny that people are bringing up the clone debate again.
It was the same before they showed the gameplay trailer of Batgirl.

After the trailer, everybody was like: Damn she is unique!

Guess what they will do with Powergirl.

I'm actually pretty OK with this. As long as Jensen Ackles does the VA for Red Hood and Carl Lumby does J'onn.

I still think Scorpion and Sub Zero are trojan trolls placed by Ed Boon to reveal someone else later on.

Though I guess it'd be moot since DC would probably have them use Khalid Ben-Hassin since he's the current one.

Although, considering how bare bones Injustice DLC is that they don't even get bios in the Archive, and the fact that most iterations of Dr. Fate look similar (except the women and Jared Stevens), it's possible it could just be "Dr. Fate" and not tell us who is under the helmet.

I would like Kent Nelson since he was the original one. But I think he's the one in the hall of justice so idk. It may also be Khalid because he is the newest one but less known, or they could just not tell us which would be lame.

Or they could put Inza in as fate with big tits for more "Female" characters in the game lol

EDIT: also how is the costume there? Doesn't the helmet have to have a host body for the costume to appear aswell?

i've said that gameplay is not the issue for me, but actual different powers/weapons/technology would be nice.

Pretty much this.

I still don't see what was so unique about Batgirl. She looked exactly like Batman to me only with a cooler super and a move where she hangs you from the grappling hook. Big fucking deal.

people want their favorites and excuses for them to happen (me included), i actually want diversity (and captain cold, this game needs a setup monster).

Eh, the only dude I want that would require an excuse is Scarecrow. Sort of stopped asking because of that.

I'd really rather NRS not even consider public desires for DLC and just go with whomever they, as developers (read: professionals) think that they could do the best with, since it'll sell no matter what.

some argue that clones sell because they are well known (batgirl, supergirl) and mk characters will sell too (like freddy). that's 5 shitty choices (batgirl, super/powergirl, zod (movie), scorpion and sub zero) lamely excused and that pisses me off.
