He says he doesn't care what people think about him AS A PLAYER. And he only says that because later on he plays audios of what people said about him as a player, but not because he cares about what is being said but because he uses it as evidence for all the ignorant shit people say about him. Good shit for Tom finally putting an end to all the blind statements being said about him.

It's not his passion over NRS games that bothers me, that's commendable. It's his constant need for peer validation that is aberrant for one who is well in to adulthood. I honestly don't want to knock the dude, I always rooted on his Sub, but videos bringing up drama from well over two years ago is just not healthy. Injustice allowed him a fresh start before fresh faces, why dwell over trivialities from the past?

Changing his name to "TRASH OF TYM" because he believes the community sees him as such, getting cleary upset at the suggestion (jokingly or not) another player is the best character representative of his main, constantly reminding everyone of his accomplishments, and making a video yelling and cursing about all of this strongly suggests he does care.

To say the community has double standards (it might do in certain cases) is misguided. Take these recent examples, CDJr. and KDZ. Both can testify how people are going to blow up any player hold to the highest standard that underperforms, specially if said player displays an attitude perceived as arrogant, boastful and condescending. Tom unfortunately displays that attitude everytime he expresses himself whether he does through text or a loud *ahem* podcast.

The fact he's compelled to remind everyone of how well he knows X and Y matchup, how many hours he spends in the lab, what players he constantly trains with, and at what level he plays the game, everytime someone disagress with him shows he has not only a need of peer validation but of imposing his opinion over others.

I'm sorry, I have another gripe with the videos, but why can't you point the camera at your own face when you're not showing us shit?

Like... what's the point in filming it with a camera if you're going to leave it on the Screen... Get Screen capturing software really.

He doesnt care what people think of him AS A PLAYER. Of course he cares what people think of him outside of that. We are all in need of peer validation, we are humans. He never said "I dont care what people think of me". He made this video to stop people saying that everything he says is absolutely retarded and has no validity. If someone said your wrong shut the fuck up to everything you said, you would be angry too.

In a Videogame community what people think of you is strongly related to what the think of you AS A PLAYER. You can't have one without the other.
