Did seem a bit of a rushed, lazy trailer by NRS, but no way to pass judgement on Reptile until he gets a full, all three variation trailer out there.

That dialogue from KL has to go.

Yeah his design is boss, I'm one of the few people on earth that actually prefer the more reptilian look over the human look.

I hope we get a human alt at least.

I'm pretty sure he'll have more tools/options besides what we see in a one-minute trailer. He certainly isn't cut/paste, as he'll have things in other variations.

One thing, though....does Elbow Dash look slower to anyone else?

No. We have seen everything reptile has to offer and we have dismissed him. Don't you know how we work?!

IDK if they are bashing on the character or the trailer, cuz reptile with sub ermac smoke noob and scor, are the most iconic ninjas of MK, for me, it was amazing

I agree. A similar thought popped in my head about what exactly it would do. I'm excited to see more of it. The idea of it is really cool.

Funny, I was underwhelmed when the hints pointed at him but he's not bad.

Piss poor compared to the others (maybe not Kung Lao or Cassie Cage) but I was entertained.

That was just an X-ray, which probably had armor.

There was definitely more than an xray. I can't see the trailer again, but when I see it I'll point out what I saw. I might just make a thread about it.

@CrimsonShadow to clarify it was that flippy thing he did over low hat, which I'm not so sure will go through projectiles. However, the x ray was something i used for anti zoning last game, not to mention force balls were already the epitome of it. Give me more tools to stops scrubs fr throwing shit... I'll take it, even if it's only for a few throwy things.

I think @NKZero nailed it with the variations. I think that's what was missing. His x-ray wasn't as awesome as I would be hoping but then again Raiden got a completely new one too. His x-ray was too much like his x-ray from MK9 IMO.

well on the second look the trailer is better. Reptile Looks like a really interesting and capable fighter. the only bad thing are those unpolished animations, i hope they work on that.

I think the video and overall reveal was crappy because it was a reveal from IGN and not from the official Mkpage where most of their character reveals were well thought out and delivered... It's funny because so many people were getting really hype for Reptile. His moves are alright, I feel NRS held back a bit on Reptile... He really had a lot of potential.

Reptile is one of those guys I'll never play as much but I really like having him around.... He looks sick.. no more bird look..
He also seems like a different playstyle then anyone out so far which is great...

Glad he is not a robot and reptile fans get thier dude...

This trailer wasn't anything special. The only thing I liked was the sound effects during reptiles x Ray. The x Ray itself was bad, no 'really brutal' vibe from it at all and imo the worst one so far revealed.

Most uninspired and boring reveal yet lol. And I thought having Kung Lao and Kitana come back was dissapointing, oh man. Seems just like such a boring pick, and some of the animations are really odd too. The grab animation where he tosses kung into the air, and the last bit of the xray looked extremely weird, like all of a sudden kung just got this surge of momentum that didn't come from anywhere. Like he bounced for no reason just strange moments like that in a lot of character animations.

Also that dialogue was like seeing you best friend's girlfriend cheat on him and your best friend saying how she's the most faithful girlfriend ever type cringeworthy. My god I've seen CW shows and twilight movies that didnt have me facepalming that hard.

Hopefully they reveal an actual NEW character soon enough. I'm tired of these old horses returning. Put them out to pasture and bring us the new characters.

Reptile looks f ing cool and awesome. The OKi balls are to die for in gameplay and that sweep low starter .....? Loved the new invisibility design

Also I loved seeing Lao hat speed on the ground was slow.....? 3 different speeds available?
