Watching it again just cuz..... But I dont think it is an interacble or interaction with the stage anymore.
I kept seeing him jump off something, but after a close analysis I think what I am seeing him jump off is just some zombie or dead dude in the water.
Pretty sure that hop is a special now.

Hell yea. That stream in MK9 was meh. Hoping the puddle was a variation-specific move and not a MB acid spit

IMO all of his traditional moves looked a lot slower. I really love Reptile, but this reveal did not get me hype outside of who the character is. Still happy for the Reptile mains out there though.

The trailer wasnt hype at all and was way too short but I'm hyped for Reptile....

did you guys noticed that Reptile combo off an uppercut? I hope d2 aas are juggle comboable like INj.

If I get a walkspeed like that with some good pokes that are hopefully cancellable, I'll take the speed reduction on everything else lol.

That forceball animation isn't very clear at all if his back is turned to the camera. Also his two throws are so different, I'm not even sure if the acid spit throw isn't a command grab.

the trailer is boring. Didn't like his normal stance. look kinda creepy. Normal stance for mk9 reptile was better. the trailer was very disappointing.

They seem to be doing that a lot. Sub and Raiden both appear to have strings that end in throws, and who knows who else might have them by the end?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's a string ender because so far all regular throws have the exact same animation for forward or back throws, and the tongue throw came out of his idle stance animation.

Kano has a string that ends in a grab, too.

Sub Zero...it was an enjoyable 4 years but I'm taking my talents back to Zaterra.

That low kick that popped Lao in the air, does anyone think it will lead to full combo or will it just land a couple of kicks and a knockdown?

At most, I see the low kick comboing into slide.

Yeah man I'll definitely be back if they have MKX sessions. Didn't like Injustice at all tbh...

Also, are you sure playing Reptile is a wise move for you? Last time I remember, you got bodied harder than a QB sack from LT when I used my day 1 Kabal.
