You quoted the dodging part, did you mean the laser minigame? I think he was talking about the game where superman is in hunter dog pose and flying upward through rocks @ 0:41.

I believe Grodd is going to be a non-playable boss...

Grodd looks way too big to be playable or even a boss. Those soldiers are the same size as Wondy since we saw her fight one in the video, and Grodd is twice their size. The other big characters like Grundy and Bane are only a head or two taller than the regular sized characters, while Grodd would tower over everyone. I think he's just going to be a stage character honestly.
