Realistic and Fantasy Character Buffs

So I have been in streams and on the site for awhile and people seem to like stating ridiculous buffs for their characters. So I'm wondering what realistic and fantasy buffs you would like to see for your character. You don't have to explain why you chose said buff if you don't want to, this is purely for fun. Remember guys, THEY NEED IT! I'll go first as an example.

Harley Quinn

Realistic Buffs

  • Silly Slide now has a MB version and two hits of armor when MB. Allowing her to get in easier on opponents such as Raven and DS
  • TS~1 is now and OH giving her a 50/50 mix up with TS~1(OH) and TS~2(Low)
  • Her F2 OH is now 20 frames making it 7 frames faster than it is now, but still slower than both NW and Ares
  • 2D3 has its original advantage on block. No reason why I just like the advantage it had.

Fantasy Buffs

  • B2 is now an otg. This is a must, she needs better oki after a HDK with 112
  • Bag O' Tricks is now based on inputs like Arrow's
  • Line of Fire now does 7% on hit, so she can compete in the zoning war with the likes of Lex and Joker
  • MB Cupcakes now throws out 5 cupcakes increasing its range and height. NO flying for Hawkgirl, NO more smoke bomb for Batgirl and NO more Supernova for Doomsday

Realistic Buffs

  • Lower the cooldown on trait (down to 12 seconds from 15) or increase the trait's duration (increase to 9 seconds from 6)
  • Make the 2 in his 123 string not whiff after hitting a crouching character with jd3
  • Make MB Air Venom safe on block
  • Make him unable to be parried while trait is active
  • More invincibility frames on his wake-ups (not fully invincible, mind you)
  • Make (MB) Air Snatch throw the opponent in front of Doomsday instead of behind
Fantasy Buffs

  • D1 is a low (haha, go fuck yourself Killer Frost, Batman or anyone else with a parry)
That is all I could honestly ask for. I don't think any of it would break the character, except for maybe the d1 change. But even that wouldn't break him. It would just change the Doomsday vs Killer Frost MU quite a bit.

Thoughts from fellow Doomsday players?

Silly slide has less recovery
Trait let's you choose the option but will have some kind of 2.5 second debuff after
F3 is +9 since you know its 40 frames
MB pop pop is overhead

Fantasy
MB play Doctor is +10 on hit
S2 is overhead
Cartwheel is overhead
Tantrum 3 is 0 on block

Killer Frost

Realistic Buffs

  • Forward dash is shortened slightly
  • Trait cancel has less recovery upon activation only which will allow for some trait setups that were previously nerfed out un-intentionally (the reduced recovery will not be enough to lead to a free 50-50)
  • F3 gives advantage on block
  • Air dash recovery lessened slightly
  • Successful non-MB parry now causes more pushback
  • Reduced start-up frames on super
Fantasy Buffs
  • Daggers are able to be executed while jumping
  • Daggers can now be MB'd to throw an additional dagger (3 total)
  • After thrown from the ground, dagger height can now be adjusted higher or lower by pressing up or down
  • Daggers hit state changed from 'high' to 'mid'
  • Iceberg hit state changed from 'mid' to 'low'
  • Iceberg properties changed to align with Aquaman's ground trident
  • Slide can now be cancelled into trait
  • Trait cancel restored to vanilla properties
  • Parry no longer costs meter to freeze opponent
  • Damage scaling on slide reduced
  • B1 now has the same advancing properties as Green Lantern's B1
  • J2 hitbox increased to add better cross-up potential
  • B3 startup frames reduced and given advancing properties
  • When Killer Frost activates trait she summons an ice wraith that does an overhead to you when you hit 4 and a slide when you hit d4
  • Slide now has the same armor properties as Walking Corpse
  • KF now has an ice teleport
YOLO Buffs
  • SLIDE HIT STATE CHANGED FROM 'LOW' TO 'UNBLOCKABLE'
  • When Killer Frost activates trait she summons an ice wraith that does an overhead to you when you hit 4 and a slide when you hit d4
  • KF can now summon the ice throne from her win pose which would act the same as Sub-Zero's ice clone in MK9

a little more priority on lightning charge and flying uppercut
better angle on d2
MB speed dodge works like MB water shield

Fantasy
air lightning charge, MB version goes downwards as an overhead
can't be hit out of trait, must be pushblocked

Noob's saibot or noob saibot's?
grundy needs a bf1 cleaver throw projectile which u can throw far mid close and meter burn for 2 hits
he also needs a 4th trait throw option , a meter build trait where all moves give extra meter build
unclashable trait throw
fix the walking corpse inputs to have a greater window to input the cancel it should be for the whole duration
MOAR DAMGE
edit/ give his f1 low a frame or two better start up pls

For Joker, we don't need fantasy buffs, just realistic ones:

Give Joker a mid, low and overhead gun, all unseeable, all changed with up, forward or down. HOWEVER increase the recovery frames to something a little more in tune with balance:

Realistic
- D1 to be +13 on hit to stop people from jumping out of pressure when hit!
- F2D1 to be safer on whiff. (Less recovery.) It should not be punishable if someone jumps, then lands, then attacks. That's too much time. (SMs F23 recovers faster than this on whiff)
- Standing 2 to have a slightly bigger hitbox so that it hits connects against cornered opponents after a blocked F3.
- For the 11 string to have a slightly longer hitbox so that it doesn't whiff. (Especially in combos)
- For his Super to completely go through during trades. (There's no sense that HQ and Ares got fixed yet GA didn't, plus 7% for 4 bars = Profound Sadness :( )
- Ice Arrow does a damage % (since it scales so much even though it's a 0% move)
- Special Arrows do more than .7% chip (It's hard to counter zone when you're not counter zoning lol)

Fantasy
- Holding trait is special and Super cancellable
- Standard capacity of all special arrows to be 3
- Ice arrows speed is dependent on direction input (Like Zod balls)
- Neutral Arrows do 3% damage
- Safe slide (Like Killer Frost)
- Bow Spin to have a MB version to make it safe
- 33 Super lands on hit on everybody
- If GA shoots the ground with an ice arrow it forms a slippery puddle (like SZ from MK ;) )

Most of the Realistic one's were brought to my attention by @Red Reaper but I definitely agree with him on those, and I added a few at the end. The Fantasy stuff was fun lol, hopefully with enough of these threads NRS might actually pay attention to the serious points and do something.....?

I'm hoping so with the serious part of the thread. As I said the fantasy is for fun, but I do like the idea of shooting Ice arrow on the ground to make a slippery puddle :)

Threads like these should be requested by NRS for balance patches and they pick and choose what they think is the best.

We, as the players, know better than they do, damn it! Right? ...right? >.>

Realistic:

  • Quicker startup on bolt (regular and mb)
  • MB bolt either unblockable or have a hit of armor during startup
  • More safety on strings like b23
  • Quicker recovery on forward teleport
Fantasy:
  • Air torpedo
  • Air dash (Really, Killer Frost has one and Shazam doesn't?)
  • Armor on HM and AC
  • Unblockable torpedo :p

Realistic NW buffs

- Give more priority to Flip Kick; bigger hitbox so it won't whiff on certain characters
- Faster start up to walk speed in both stances
- Faster start up to Forward Jump and Backward Jump. Triple Jump (better acrobat than Batman) so NW can avoid projectiles/interactables.
- Escrima 3 becomes low starter, make his approach game more dangerous.
- Improve anti air tools. Make Escrima D2 7-8 frames. Scatter bombs - 10 frames and improve the hit box on it. Seems more like a firecracker than actually bomb.


Unrealstic NW buffs
- Full screen tracking Wing Dings (like Supes lasers)
- Ground Pound becomes 10 frames with less recovery, same block advantage
- Staff Spin causes hard knockdown
- Flying Grayson hits overhead
- Flipkick becomes plus 8 on block with armor when MB
