Sony punishes any hate mail either by a warning if it's nothing major or at least a 3 day ban. Just report the hate message he sent you and if by any chance you took the picture from the game where his variation name is visible, I think you can send it along with that report. He should get 7 days minimum.

Interesting. Is there a way to permaban them from the consoles? Would be helpful to abuse this system to get rid of those toxic people.

I don't think so. You can can create a private party though. That way you won't hear anyone in game. You can also turn off any messages from people who aren't on your friend list so you won't get any hate mail. You also won't get any messages from nice people though who maybe want to run couple of sets with you. But the option is there. Other than that there's nothing much you can do except report any hate mail.

There should always be an option to blacklist people like this so you never get matched or hear from them again like you can do in SFV for example.

That would be nice, but as of recently Sony, like Microsoft, gives you the ability to change your nick under a specific price offer. So even if they find out that we blacklisted them, they'd change their nicks and redo their toxicity. Best would be for Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony to add a serious enforce to threat them to a temporary ban, and if they keep this shit, this would result in permaban with a console bricking. As for PC, it'd be lit to ban them from online.

Besides KL is very frustrating and makes anger. I often said bad things to people but they also said the same to me. Later when everybody became calm we said sorry to each other.

Once some guy called me fuckin polish poor idiot. I understood that he was angry. He lost over 150 pts in one match. Later he said sorry but he lost over 3 hours of play to get that 150 pts when he got 20 pts for every fight.

I cannot stress this enough. If you care about your mental health but still want to play KL for the skins and gear... just take your two wins (or loss) and move on after it. If you get hatemail, ignore it. Should you want to play sets and not have to worry about all of this shit, just play people you know but build your circle of players that you don't have issues with in general. I'm having a much better experience after making these adjustments. I still get whatever KL stuff I need, and have a good time playing against friends or people that I at least know. I also make sure to routinely play against people noticeably better than me, such as Curbolicious, so I'm still actively improving by not just playing the same people over and over outside of KL.

Your game life will be determined by your individual choices, so don't let shitty people get you down. There's gonna be toxic shit no matter what game, it is what it is.
