Explain this "shotgun d4" thing Charliemurphy is talking about. I'm not sure I understand what he means. Like....is he talking about Sub mashing D4 over and over?

Now...this interrupting Sub's standing 2 strings....you can do this after a blocked jump in?

Don't block jump ins... D2 or D1 trance them

it only took countless beatings and many rune traps to just mash d4 and force you to deal with it.

Months of conditioning let me at least use f4 and back dash whiff punish after Dink would d2 anything that wasn't a d4.

Can Quan d2 a SZ standing 2 when d4 hits Quan in crouch? I forget.

Shit i think i abandoned using standing 2 unless i was punishing anyway.

Well, if you stand at just the right distance away, you can whiff the standing 2 and quan's move will whiff and get hit by the second 2. Done that a few times vs Dink but... this thread isn't about how to beat quan with sub

It isn't easy

a reckless SZ is actually pretty hard to deal with.

D2 damage from Quan is not enough to keep me from just running back in and mashing d4.

offline you can even sneak a clone inbetween his low/oh string

However, Quan just needs a touch. Then he can lame out SZ and use his advancing string to stop rampant dashing.

I dont' like the "use sky drop on reaction to ice ball" simply because using trance is better.
