PU 2012: 6v6 Team Battle & Sunday Top 8 Stream Detail

Due to internet issues the Team Battle 6v6 at PowerUp 2012 was recorded by Sabin instead of streamed and he just uploaded it. It was Team GGA: GGA Han, GGA MOE30W, GGA Wafflez, GGA Jeremiah, GGA Dizzy and GGA soonk vs Team Static All Stars: EMP Tom Brady, EMP Perfect Legend, TS Sabin, Osu 16 Bit, Goldfishkeeper and Webster aka AU_IM_DIGIMON.


Also, the latest details that I have received from Tim Static regarding the top 8 is that Mortal Kombat 9 is expected to take place at 4PM EST on Team Sp00ky's stream via this link.

Very surprised GGA Tommy Wafflez did not make top 8. His Smoke is pretty damn impressive from what I've seen of his play.

Yea it sucked. He got put into losers by 16bit and it was close. And then dizzy took him out and it was very close. It was as close as their mlg match.

There is some confusion. According to IKizzle, he took out Dizzy (seen on stream) and Dizzy took out King in winners (Suggesting you're correct).

Either they redid the brackets for "semis" (Top 16 - though they didn't reset losers), or "Pool Play" wasn't really pool play, but rather just the part of the bracket in winners each player was in.

I was assuming the former.

Pools went to a top 32 bracket were the losers went over to another side of the bracket, hence Dizzy and King coming out of losers while starting out in Pool B.

The top 8 opening matches:

Winners:
MK Legend vs IKizzle
16 Bit vs Chris G

Losers:
Dizzy vs Digimon
Tom vs King


The 6 on 6 has probably been canceled.

? I thought the 6 on 6 happened on Sabin put it on youtube already. Or is this another 6 on 6?

Watching kof13 that game looks decent actually. I like how you get 3 bars and 3 different characters but no tag crap. I like that.
