Have you ever Tethered your vita to your mobile phone's wifi hotspot?
I have the wifi vita. Use broadband for downloading but whilst traveling, connect vita to phone to sign into psn for messages and can connect to MK9 Online for a few, laggy matches.
Looking online, it seems that mobile phone companies have tried to put a stop to this as mobile data plans now state that it's for the mobile phone device only. I'm on Virgin mobile and pay £15 a month for 3GB data on pay & go ( I hate contract ) and was wondering about changing to GifGaf's offer of £12 a month for unlimited, probably up to 20GB. Would I get away with it if only used wifi hotspot tethering for playing online and not downloading from psn store?
Has anyone else got away with it? or been caught?
