Projectiles going through Freddy Krueger

This morning, I was playing a round against a Cyber Sub-Zero, and after a normal string, he ended with an ice ball. The ice ball passed straight through Freddy as if nothing was there.

Is anyone else having this issue? I saw it pop up in one of the Freddy threads, I figured it should probably have a place in here. Thanks for any help!

I've seen this happen as well with when I did a Shadow Slide against one. It doesn't always happen so I don't know what triggers it.

this is fixed now, thx.
fyi damage scaling not registering right on dreamdrop thing and en ground claw are also fixed.
this should make it to be rolled into the upcoming patch.

i noticed this too the first match i played against Freddy. I don't know how something like this could slip by NRS, but i'm glad to hear it's fixed now and will be rolled in the next patch

Is the damage scaling on his f421 Xray going to be fixed? 50% for 3 buttons and an Xray is way too much, while all of his other longer Xray combos are in the 35-45 range.

Actually, this is a great point. The whole point of bringing Freddy out of the dream world in the movies is that he doesn't have his powers anymore then.

But anyway, the answer is: They keep letting that no talent Vogel dingus write the stories. :)

the dude was a deamon watch the movies and you will see what he can do.

just be glad he cant be invisible the movie he said kug fu this bitch he was invisible fighting a kid so ya we got lucky he didnt get every thing he should have

Just playing devils advocate here, but doesn't sub-zero have a JIP 214 Xray that does 50%? Ok it's 4 buttons instead of 3 but still. It's stil a pretty easy 50% Xray combo.

This is a bit off topic, but does anyone else notice a lot more newbs on PSN since freddy came out.. By newbs i mean a lot of people with 0/0 win/loss records. It seems that before Freddy i never saw anyone with 0/0 win/loss records..After playing last night... there was a whole swarm of them. I think a lot of freddy enthusiasts bought the game just for freddy hence the massive amounts of 0/0 win/loss records.

Just going to toss this in here, but was playing around with Shang and Freddy in training mode and noticed that after you SS and do Freddy's x-ray, Freddy can't be pushed at all.

Not sure if he is stuck and can't move since I have no one to test this with, but only way to get him pushable again is with a Throw. Again, not sure how this would affect a real player, just something weird I found out.

This happens to me also. I do Scorpion's 1, 1, spear.. and the spear goes through him. I tweeted Boon about this a while ago and I don't know if it was addressed.

This problem is widely known. It is a huge problem (along with the damage scaling) that needs to be addressed asap. Apparently, however, no new patches are released to fix these.
