I love you. Hope the HA Fox comes in handy. Also the Toxic Spikes Seaweed just saves you time.yeah i got both
Yeah thanks alot, egg moves on pokes saves me alot of time and a lower tier t spike setter was exactly what I neededI love you. Hope the HA Fox comes in handy. Also the Toxic Spikes Seaweed just saves you time.
Man her sub sets are definitely the scariest. She comes in on something that doesn't want to deal with her, gets her free sub, then a free sd...and after that she wrecks your whole team lol. As for Heracross, I know this can be said for any poke really, but I've been most scared of him when Scolipede gets a chance to pass speed boosts to him...speed is really the only thing Mega Heracross is lacking to keep him from being one of the scariest megas in the meta...that and the quad weakness to flying...which means you can't deal with two of the premier pokemon in the meta. (T-Flame and Mega Pinsir)Mega Mawile is an absolute pain to deal with if it sets up a Sub.
Has anyone figured out how to user Herracross? at all?
he's slowMaybe I need to try Mega Cross again. I wasn't feeling him the first time I used him.
I run Jolly with Arm Thrust, Pin Missile, Rock Blast and Bullet Seed. Really good coverage and compliments his Ability. But idk, he feels blah lol
There really isn't a point in running jolly, because he isn't outspeeding much. However, like I said, Scolipede really helps him out a lot. Iron defense and sub with speed boost, and just wait for the right time to Baton Pass.Maybe I need to try Mega Cross again. I wasn't feeling him the first time I used him.

I have more fun running Moxie Cross with Close Combat, Stone Edge, mega horn and swords dance
Ya I dont see the hype with Mega Pinsir either. I've only used him once. I ran Return, Quick Attack, Earthquake and Swords Dance and I was bored lolhe's slow
has many relevent countesr
same with Pinsir.... he just has pokemon that can wall him or even keep him from doing anything. Add to the fact that they are both hella predictable.

Pinsir isn't really predictable, he just has one set that trumps all others pretty heavily.he's slow

Scolipede learns iron defense? Sub + Iron Defense + Swords Dance + Baton pass seems deadly. There really isn't a point in running jolly, because he isn't outspeeding much. However, like I said, Scolipede really helps him out a lot. Iron defense and sub with speed boost, and just wait for the right time to Baton Pass.
I know. I won with him when I ran him, but idk, I just don't like using him. There's better pokes, mega and non mega IMOIt's not about hype, it's about winning.
Yeah he learns Iron Defense, and it really helps him with his passing. Not really a fan of toxic spikes this gen, mostly because of defoggers having 0 issues getting rid of them.Scolipede learns iron defense? Sub + Iron Defense + Swords Dance + Baton pass seems deadly.
But, he's also a good lead due to toxic spikes.
he totally isPinsir isn't really predictable, he just has one set that trumps all others pretty heavily.
Aside from Megazard X, Landorus, Thundurus and Aegislash...maybe the deoxys'. There aren't very many other pokes I know of that are better than Pinsir tbh. I'd be willing to throw any form of T-Tar into the discussion too. In OU, I think he is easily top 3 mega wise.I know. I won with him when I ran him, but idk, I just don't like using him. There's better pokes, mega and non mega IMO
He totally has more than one set, he is always going to have SD, quick attack and Return/Frustration of course. The last one is a wild card though between CC and EQ. Also, he can run pretty much any of his abilities and be ok, but Hyper Cutter is the most effective because you can't Intimidate him off the switch. Just because he has checks and counters doesn't mean much. Also, Rocky Helmet Mandibuzz is a better teammate for him than Skarm imo, and she handles all those pokes readily as well as removes hazards. His quick attack is FAAAAAR from weak. It gets a 30% boost from aerielate and then a STAB boost, making it a 78 BP priority move..that is kind of amazing lol.he totally is
when he switches in you know he's gonna megavolve....... there isn't a reason not to.
You know he's running that set.
You know that you can out-priority him with T-Flame.
He can't switch into Skarm
Charizard eats him (both versions)
idk...... STAB Quick Attack is pretty weak... no matter what pokemon is running it.
Then again... he just needs ONE boost.....
Pinsir is a fucking destroyer at any given point in time. If you let him get beyond +2 then you better be running a physical Zapdos or he can quick attack just about the entire meta to death.I tried explaining this all to Murphy the other day...he is just very stubborn at times lol
Not only is he one of the best mons to fucks wit dis gen, but Pinsir looks hella rad in mega form...super fucking scary.Pinsir is really cool. One thing to consider is when you using him is when to mega him. Since he has Moxie as an ability. So their is an interesting thought/ Mind game to it. The only thing that sucks is if he is hit with any rock move he is dead. Like DEAD. Nothing can save him from that. But he is something to be afraid of. Until you get hit with a rock blast that hits all 5 times. Then your fucked. :3
if you let anyone get to +2 they wreck shopPinsir is a fucking destroyer at any given point in time. If you let him get beyond +2 then you better be running a physical Zapdos or he can quick attack just about the entire meta to death.
How? Aside from maybe a Zapdos, Rotom-W, full health Thundurus or Terrakion (which for some reason isn't that common), what can stay in against Pinsir with confidence? There is so much in the meta that doesn't want to deal with mega Pinsir, pretty much ever. It's hella easy to get the boost, the problem is always picking the right spot to bring him in, and that is about it.if you let anyone get to +2 they wreck shop
he just has a much harder time getting even ONE boost .
Talonflame mops it up on everything but a pure switch in.How? Aside from maybe a Zapdos, Rotom-W, full health Thundurus or Terrakion (which for some reason isn't that common), what can stay in against Pinsir with confidence?
Talonflame can't get guaranteed okho even when banded due to Pinsir having a little bulk. Edited post above, but I'll reiterate. There are tons of pokes that don't want to deal with Pinsir at all. Venusaurs, Conks, Brelooms, Heracross, Medicham, the list goes on man. Anything that doesn't have bulk or is weak to flying is either going to get out, or try to read the SD and take a chance on trying to hit you with something SE if they even have it. Most people aren't going to take that risk.Talonflame mops it up on everything but a pure switch in.
How are you gonna get that boost reliably?
