Plead to NRS

This deserves a thread, because it is extremely irritating... it's part of the reason I got burned out with NRS a few years ago. They just do not listen to this critical feedback... nowhere near transparent enough about things.

I quite frankly don't care if this "isn't necessarily in NRS control, it's WB"...I have no idea, but we need to do something about it.

Thanks @STORMS. Throughout the years there’s been rumors of some sort of classics release, but for some reason or another it never comes to fruition. It just sucks that there’s no good, reliable way to play the classic MK games. Yet, almost every classic Capcom fighting game has been re-released multiple times. We not only want to be able to enjoy these amazing classic games, we want players who never got to experience them to be able to play them if they want to. But as it stands, these games are pretty inaccessible. I just wish NRS would at least consider doing something like this

There are two ways they can do this, they can remaster the classic for morden consoles, or they can go with my proposal on the thread ideal MK game, where they can bring the best of each world.

TLDR on That of course it's an attempt to bridge a gap between old and new generation of MK players to find a common ground with gameplay elements of old and new mk games overall.

They came out with it, its called Arcade 1up, that was the direction they wanted to go. Today is UMK3s birthday, and mine too go figure and the game is 29 years old and its never coming back just being realistic , unless someone outside of that company pays for the license and does it on their own, like 1up, NRS will never do it, and its honestly not even worth talking about anymore. Sorry just being real. Its a wrap fellas it is not coming back lol.

NRS doesn't own Mortal Kombat. WB does. It is entirely out of NRS' control, demand and potentially even knowledge if WB has any plans whatsoever to do anything with the classic games. They can't be transparent on something they can't do anything about. Its all about what WB's CEO Zaslav thinks will make money.

NRS isn't an independent company who can do whatever they want with the MK IP. If WB wanted NRS to make Power Puff Girls games for the next 30 years, there's nothing they could do about it.

Yeah, it's probably never going to happen as much as I would be over the moon for a Collection of the old games. WB is in too much of a spiral right now due to Discovery fucking everything.

I just don't think it would sell well, I'd much rather get a new MK game than play an HD outdated game personally. I've never played them and have no interest in doing so. I also don't really think they need to confirm to us wether they'd be doing it or not, like they've probably considered it and decided not to I don't think we need to be in on that discussion, I'm sure there's been plenty of pitches and ideas they've not gone with they don't need to tell us what they are. They should just focus on making the best possible new game imo
