I honestly don't know how you guys can play this game on a pad. Learning to play all over again on the Vita is FUCKING TORTURE! I hate the pad, but what can I do about it? Nothing...

Props to you guys who can even do a 2-hit combo on this thing.

We've always had pads.... no reason to play on a stick when the game pad comes with the console.

I didn't mind my xbox pad, but then I got a stick which broke recently and I cannot play on pad at all.

Plus playing Street Fighter on the xbox pad makes me cry.

I'm adjusting to my new TE, I dig it. Dashing on the P2(P1 side no probrem!) side in rapid successions such as Cage's bnb - F4/F3 2 dash 2 dash 2 dash 44~nut punch is an adjustment since I'm not used to using my left hand like that but overall I prefer the stick outside of that honestly.

As long as it's a PS2/3 pad, i'm happy, although i'm probably sometime quick gonna switch to a stick. The 360's pad can burn in the netherealm for all I care.

the "new" silver xbox pad is not bad really. King uses it. It has an option to be the normal pad or a less diagonal webbing pad.

Yeah, they need to bring those things to every tournament because I'm not about to throw down $100 on a pad just from looks. I need to feel the thing and try it out for that price.

I really like the XBOX pads feel, but I hate the dpad.(im on ps3) Seems like it would be the perfect pad. Plus the ability to change the configuration is pretty dope. Do you have one, THTB?

No I don't but PL had one and I got to hold it. It felt good even if I didn't play on it. I used streesweep's pad and I loved it.

Thanks man, I may have to just bit the bullet and get one. My poor ps3 pads just cant keep, I abuse the living hell out of them. Did it seem like it was built pretty well....for a pad I mean lol.

Nothing on it feels cheap whatsoever. It feels very top-notch. You don't even have to use it to get that kinda feeling, which is awesome.

Also, where'd the phase "pad" come from for describing a controller? Is is short for paddle? Or is just a short way of saying D-pad?

I only play stick on NAMCO games because of my habit to play on stick with 2 fingers.Been always like that.Loooots of Metal Slug...

How in the hell do you play on an analog stick?! But yes, pad is just short for D-pad.

Even though I don't use a stick, there are times when I get to use one. I can't do shit in sf games but mk is much more lenient in inputs. There's no "quarter circle" motion. Its' simply down, forward or back, down..etc. I did a beastly kratos combo to my friend in the corner. I couldn't end it though..just did 1, arrow repeatedly until he hit the ground. lol
