That's when you perform a 20+ hit combo mid-round.. if you do the ultra combo as a finisher the announcer says "ULTRA! ULTRA! ULTRA! Ultra! Ultra! ultra! ultra!...." etc

Once again you are wrong again 12hits+ are killer combos and as finishers are ultra combos. 8hits awesome combo . 11 king combo

i own this game on snes and have the rom. if you have the rom, go and perform an ultra combo to finish the game, and you will hear the ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA for yourself

Namco would never make a KI game for a lot of reasons, mainly though because they have there hands full with all the ridiculous amounts of tekken there currently producing on every single platform known to man, two, its not a viable arcade game because no one in japan would play it.

The best hope anyone has for KI, is a xbla port of KI1&2, by 4j studios.

This was done to save memory for the home version to squeeze as much content in as possible. I'm 38 years old, I remember reading about this in Electronic Gaming Monthly back in the 90's. I was disappointed after performing an Ultra on my SNES version and not hearing the full thing. I hope this helps the argument.
