Ever since the "let TYM pick your main for a week" craze, I've wondered which character you like the best. Out of Scorpion, Kung Lao, and Cyblax, my favorite is Lao. What about you?

well i know how to use the whole cast pretty well, apart from stryker and kano because i don't like their playstyles, so the new main thing i've just been using as an excuse to get more practice with characters :p

i played sub for the longest time back when MK9 came out, so he's my favorite of the new ones i've gotten

i still hate kano (i think it has to do with me getting my ass whooped by karate kano in the acid pit when i was younger... i never let go of that grudge)

i only got 2 votes for sheeva but i said yolo and have been maining her this week... offline anyway, i haven't had my ps2 had here at home all week so i've been getting my cast whooped by randoms and TYM members on 360 pad online lol. i liked how she played when i first started learning basics for her for the sake of soul steal, i still do.. i just hate using her against people who knows the MU lol, i feel violated afterwards

As for me:


Out of the 3 I've been given... Shang, Sektor, Scorpion (lol dat alliteration)

probably a tie b/w Shang & Sektor... I love the big damage and being able to zone. Not use to that with Sub-Zero. lol

Once you master him.... please teach me! I've wanted to play cyrax forever and I've tried like 20438957 times to pick him up. I just fail. lol

I got Cyrax, Shang, and Reptile...Shang Tsung has been the most fun for me, both aesthetically and gameplay wise, his combos have so much elegance.

Cyrax kind of bored me and...Reptile...ehh I haven't had that much time with him, but he feels awkward in my hands so far :(.

That's pretty much the general thought. TBH, I've played Reptile since the beginning, but I can easily understand why he seems awkward to a lot of people.

BTW- in terms of elegant combos, Reppy is top tier.

I've been playing raiden and he's actually a lot of fun. Being forced to play footsies isn't so bad for me as a player, either.

Saturday i unleash him on you all.

I gave him up cause I couldn't dash with him like a normal character. I would dash and try to combo and always get that jumping F3 retard of a move.
