Question - Hish-Qu-Ten Option Selects

I've been trying to get a grasp on how exactly to do option selects and what exactly they are. I did watch ultradavid's video and have a basic understanding of what he's saying, just not how to do it. could someone try and explain to me how to do them using predator's hish-qu-ten as an example? would be greatly appreciated

Basic explanation: inputting a special move at the end of a combo string but having it only come out IF the opponent is opened up (stops blocking/gets hit).

Basic input technique using a 3 hit string: input the first 2 commands for the string and end with a special move from the characters list. After the special move is input, input block down down for example. *not all combo strings can be OS. Also the block down down must be input BEFORE the special move has a chance to come out*

On block the special move should not come out, on hit the special should come out as intended.
