Funny enough: Day 1 when I downloaded the patch I noticed this also. Random freezing in training mode galore. I fixed it by deleting the game from my hardrive, clearing the system cache, and redownloading every patch.

The random freeze happens when you're downloading something. By lag I meant actual delay. I made sure it wasn't my TV by testing it on my brother's console and TV. His was kind of off too.

Mayhaps it has something to do with the Government shutting down to play GTA Online?

No online sucks. Butt you can do is open you ports. You don't need a large download speed... its all about security

My router is set up to do port forwarding, and I've got a 20mb connection through TWC. Honestly, the online was perfectly fine for me until the day the patch dropped. I got the odd super laggy match, but 8/10 times the matches were pretty decent. It's so painful right now I can barely even muster up the desire to log in...I can barely land a damn BNB at this point.

Happens on ps3 really bad. I've seen it happen on xbox but nowhere near as bad.

I drop combos all the time offline, in practice, so it's hard for me to know when there's lag online. #TheStruggle

i doubt it has to deal with who you connecting to other players. made a thread earlier this week about the connetion and plenty of other people are having a lag problem the netcode for this game is just garbage. if it was anything like say tekken for example that has excellent online play we wouldnt be having these complaints. imo instead of them coming out with countless updates to stop the community from crying and actually work on their trashy netcode this game would be better then what it is (from an online players persepctive that is lol)

I get the same thing. It's the same problem as when your game was freezing but to a lesser extent. Clearing cache usually gets rid of it pretty fast.

The only ones that I even notice are the ones that say blocker or just gonna block the whole time block spammer, an I just send back "well it's the best move in the game, maybe you should learn it". Which is so ironic cause I'm so free to mixups lol

...well, looks like you were right. Online is back to its usual quality....maybe even better than before, and as far as I can tell nothing changed on my end. Whatever...not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
