Are you sure teleport isn't a universal move? I doubt he'd have as much control over where he ends up when not using displacer but he should still have the classic teleport.

I've listened to it at least 30 times and it really sounds like he's saying "blots." I can't hear a "k" sound at all.

Same as sub-zero's clone got separated into a single variation, his tele was also separated, that is why is called displacer

You guys are forgetting that most of his move set is not limitaded by variations unlike sub-zero who has only freeze and slide, raiden by far is possibly the character with the most special universal moves, outside of his variations he still has, shokers, vicinity blasts, supermans and lightning orbs, if you combine these to any of his variation you shall have a really powerfull raiden.

As badass as Raiden was in this trailer they also made Kotal Khan look amazing as well.

According to Boon, displacer Raiden can teleport on different areas on the screen, either closer or further away. It's gonna be boss. He also said that each one will have his classic moves such as superman and vicinity blast because that's pretty much the way it's been forever. They want to add on top of what Raiden already has to help get him closer or further away, which is awesome for footsies.
