2 things:
1) A lot of the best players for certain characters do not like playing online, and
2) Mirror matches do not really mean much as far as character prowess is concerned

I agree, mirrors doesn't mean that who wins is the best one with said character.
What about taking 2 or 3 good players with every character and make match ups like *player name* representing Aquaman vs *player name* representing Zod, this would help people to learn mu's tho.
