It's about a 45-60 minute drive from there. I live in Pinole and that's about how long it usually takes.

Is anyone willing to host something down in San Jose? If not, I'm willing to host something at my place. It's pretty much in the middle of San Jose and Sacramento. I live about an hour away from each, or as little as 45 minutes depending on traffic.
If you host it'll be way more likely I can go since you're closer.
