Emperor Knicks Vs oD 2eZ
FULL MATCH HERE

Emperor Knicks in the Early portions of the tournament was showing us how much utility Dragon Fangs Goro brings to the table. Really flexing the character's self proclaimed title of "Master of Kombat". However going up against a Mystic Ermac player in oD 2eZ he opted to go Impostor Shinnock for the loopable trance shenanigans. Not to mention the boosted damage throw option!

The games momentum wise went back and forth with oD 2eZ's sick confirms battling Knicks' bag of tricks. Many a time, Knicks would end a blockstring in amulet strike hoping to bait out an EX Push attempt in order to EX Shoulder through it for a full combo or using the trance's restand ability to get boosted interactable damage.

When it was all said in done however @EMPEROR_KNICKS took the set 3-0. Hype stuff!

GhostRoad100 Vs KOB KiritoKun

FULL MATCH HERE

This tournament brought a lot of unfamiliar faces to the forefront and they took this opportunity to shine. GhostRoad100 broke out the unbreakable and never for a moment lost his cool. During both of his streamed sets he really utilized every viable aura cancel & the fact that Unbreakable Sub Zero still has an armored launcher to perfection. His opponent here was another Mystic Ermac Player who has had quite a few good conversions throughout the tournament. However GhostRoad hit some big damage of his own. The wind up B2 denying KiritoKun his jump out of the corner. It doesn't get much better than the "Don't Jump on me I Ain't no Goomba" Special!

KiritoKun wouldn't be out done however, showing us that Mystic's Corner game is just as dangerous with the instant-air vicinity blast pressure.

This was a battle between two players that wanted to prove themselves & were determined to not have their tournament hopes end here.
EMPEROR Knicks Vs NOBLE Tweedy Grand Finals
FULL MATCH HERE

Last month's UGLAlpha event saw Tweedy Vs ESP Black in Grand Finals. Not only did Tweedy have the bracket reset on him, he then went on to lose to Black's Hellfire Scorpion. Would Tweedy drop 2 sets in grand finals 2 month's in a row? Knicks' was going to do everything in his power to make sure to avenge his only loss of the current tournament when Tweedy sent him to the loser's bracket. That match (Uploading).

The first game saw Tweedy's possessed Kenshi going one on one with Knicks' pocket Ninjitsu Scorpion. Tweedy took a quick round one off the first game. A very fast start but Knicks refused to let it go down like that. Round two had both players trading big damage, swinging for the fences, spending all kinds of meter.

The first game went to KNICK's. The chat was pretty suprised by the fact Knick's has shown he can with with a multitude of characters. 1st Goro, Then Shinnock, and now Ninjitsu Scorpion. Then the two took to game two and Tweedy took that one fairly decisively. Knicks then decided to keep strong on the path of the Shirai Ryu by staying Scorpion, however changing to Hellfire. Probably trying to channel the spirit of Last Month's winner ESP Black to take the W. However Tweedy must have labbed the Matchup for he was having none of it. Decisively taking game three dominantly.

However then the Hero of the Stream came back. The master of Kombat, the King of Kombos, the true Final Boss of the MK Series, GORO. #Punchwalk. With Knicks' tournament life on the line, back against the wall, 4 arms were better than two.

The set now being tied up 2-2. The chat hype at the #PunchWalk now it was time to see if the Champion of Mortal Kombat could be the new Champion of the UGLAlpha. Game 5 was a thrill to watch. @Tweedy taking the game relatively decisively. Is what I would say, if it wasn't for the four armed beast himself.

Knicks was able to bring it back from being down 2-1 to reset the bracket!

All and all thanks for another great event NRS community. You guys definitely showed love for your game over the weekend. Also big ups to Knicks, Tweedy, oD 2eZ for collecting on this $250 top 3 payout and for all the players who took place in the tournament! The United Gaming League staff appreciates you all coming out whether it was being a player or a stream monster. None of this hype could happen without you guys. Can't wait to do it next month for UGLAlpha 2. Check you then! #PunchWalk
