Staff is beginning to feel gimmicky to me. It's normals are great, but it is super predictable. I feel like I don't have nearly the flexibility of Escrima Stance, and that anyone that is familiar with the matchup knows exactly what my character limitations are.

How in God's name is that possible? I feel gimped as hell using staff and once my opponent gets in close I'm completely fucked. Aside from abusing db2 I can't use staff at all. Escrime seems so much more versatile at the cost of range.
