Netcode speculation yes. I would def say the game has gotten the opposite of bad press. Nothing but love and hype so far.

No they weren't... The last game had Stage Fatalities, not Stage Brutalities. They are probably going to be completely different; why else would they decide to call them Brutalities and not Fatalities? And call them a "New -ality"?
