This happened to me tonight and I've never seen it before. If it's well known, then I'm sorry but like I said, it's new to me so I thought I'd share. Basically, if your match goes to the third round and you let the timer run out, even if you have more energy that the CPU, instead of awarding you the match and continuing up the ladder, the game simply goes to "game over."
On all the other MKs, this happens on the 4th round. Not the 3rd. That's what's weird. On the other MKs, if the 3rd round ends in a tie, they go to a 4th round. After that, as soon as the round is won/over, the game is over.
Apparently, on MK1, the game is over if the timer runs out on the 3rd round. There is no 4th round. That doesn't really make much sense to me. The winner should be awarded the match instead of the game just ending.
Thoughts? Opinions?
