Yo, Batgirl has FADC combos:


I think they are stance specific (start with open stance). She can also do it midscreen and from 111 and 21 strings.

Probably not worth the meter but pretty interesting.
Haha cool =D. Can you use f2 instead of 111 (it's one frame slower). f2 generally does more damage near the beginning of combos cause it doesn't scale much.

I see this potentially being useful to provide an extra (albeit highly gimmicky) mixup. b2d3~df(MB)~dash then either 111 if it hit or b1/b2 if it didn't. Your opponent won't wanna try and poke out cause they're risking the armour absorbing the hit and getting launched anyways.

In terms of damage and going for this regularly, I think it's only really viable for the mixup (if in fact this proves useful). Wasting 2 bars for two extra percent is not worth it.

Good question. I don't see why f2 wouldn't work but I can't connect it. I think b2d3 has more cancel advantage than the others, so by that logic, there should be a few frames to work with. I am aware that b2d3 has the most hit advantage, but the cancel advantage is also based off recovery frames and b2d3 has only 6 recovery frames and it's +30 so it seems like it has 36 hitstun. 111 and 21 both (seemingly) have 32 hitstun so there is potentially 4 frames to work with depending on the accuracy of that frame data.

I think the armor goes away as soon as you dash, and you have to dash in the first few frames of the df(MB) in order to connect 111. If they block b2d3 and you dash cancel, you will be at heavy negative so it's basically a free d1 special for them.

Yeah, it doesn't seem very useful. It might help if you are trying to push your opponent towards an interactable. Like lets say you hit a d2~bola, and you go for j2b2d3 then you dash cancel into 11 bomb plant interactable to reset them. It wouldn't have worked before because you were too far but now you can push them back a little bit more and get that interactable.

Should we add some good combos that end in super as round/match enders? The only ones I really use myself with any regularity are:

b2u3 b2u3 j3 super (remove j3 to end unclashable)

b12 21 BGB b3 j3 super (remove j3 to end unclashable)

b2u3 j2 1 BGB b3 j3 super (remove j3 to end unclashable)

And of course, pure swag off the regular vortex:

vortex starter into bola, j2 11u23 super (or 11u2 super off the overhead I think)

It's swaggy as fuck, but why do that when you can do:
b1/b2d3~db2u, f23, f23~df2(MB), f23, 111~db2u (57%/58%)

If the point is to be unclashable, certainly they'd clash beforehand.

That's why I never posted the combo before but it has utility, like when they have 70% health. Sometimes they wait for the df2MB to clash because they think they can scam you out of a bar. After the super just throw them or hit them with a sweep or db33 or something and it's over.

Yeah, I suppose so. I always thought it was kinda redundant to take 45% damage before clashing to avoid an extra 13% damage or something but the point still stands.

Woooaaahhhh just found a weird-ass side switch:

In the corner do f3, 3~db2. If you time the standing 3 early but not at the earliest point the cartwheel hits but you end up on the other side. Do a flying bat at the right time to cross them up as they get up and mb it into d2 bola for a vortex setup that puts them back in the corner LOL

You have to walk forward slightly before you do the f23

hey guys, I'm screwing around with BG on a whim in training and I can't vortex for the life of me lol, my bola keeps coming out too late. Is there something with the timing I'm missing?

You have to cancel the d2 with bola. It's not just d2 then bola. Make sure you're not holding onto the 1 after bf1 because that will delay the release of the bola.
