neutral jump attack to switch sides

I thought this was weird. I noticed that if you do a NJP or NJK over a downed opponent, you will switch sides as they get up. You're not really jumping across them. You can't run passed a downed opponent either. So why does jumping straight up switch sides? I tried this with other characters too. Could be a good way to mess with someone's wake-up attacks.

I think it's just the motion of sitting up to get up. It seems like the collision occurs at the torso when laying down, then by getting up, the torso is naturally moved forward. Meanwhile, you're jumping straight up at the original collision point, so sitting up brings the torso past that threshold.

Whether or not that's intended, who knows... Just thought I'd answer the question, haha

Very interesting though. I like the wake-up mess-up idea.
