Damn near all of the pre-MK4 characters(the ones everyone knows, the most famous, even Liu Kang and Sub-Zero) are fucking rotting in the Netherrealm right now, and all of the post-MK4 character are almost equally known except for a few lame-o's like Hso Hao and Kobra.

Yeah you're right but i just think netherrealm would make would make another game first to kind of remind people who those two are and where they originate from and what they represent but then again that could be what this game is all about

A prequel wouldn't really work.

Because most of these characters didn't know each other before MK1-3(MK9) except a few rivalries and partnerships. Wouldn't make sense to have a bunch of random stories and there wouldn't be any logical way to explain them fighting each other.

I would love to see Bo Rai Cho and Kenshi( he's not dead), all need now is for Scorpion to man the F up and join Earthrealm and the we have a list of some really decent fighters, since basically all of Shao Kahn's forces are still alive

i think it was rumored a mk legacy type game was in the works based on the webisodes. i guess itll be released when the next film is out

The 2nd "Shaolin Monks" style game should focus on the MK3 storyline with Shao Kahn's invasion of Earthrealm, following the story of Stryker & Nightwolf.

That would sell BILLIONS.

maybe its not mk related and maybe its injustice 2?

also for mk id love a prequel title set in the times of king jerrod where shao khan takes over edenia. itll introduce new story and charachters

There are only two characters, Noob and Smoke, all of Noobs moves are unblockable and he has armor on everything (even standing still). Smoke only has three moves, punch, kick, and a suicide button. Also punch and kick come with a 50% chance to inflict damage onto Smoke. Smoke cannot walk or breath resulting in constant health loss.

I would never stop playing that game

MK 10 with X-Ray featuring Brutalities, Reptile's acid spit fatality and Friendships! And the story of MK-Deception. And more weapon based combat. And death traps. Just go over the top for God's sake.

Yeah, that's all I want from them...

9. Make the Krypt AA-ZZ sized so that maybe I'll have some use for my THIRTY FUCKING THOUSAND PLATINUM COINS -_-.
8. Dark Prison, Falling Cliffs, Sky Temple, The Foundry & Onaga's Temple as Chess Kombat maps.
7. Include Survival Mode. Maybe another different new ladder type.
6. New and improved missions for Konquest Mode, including an active quest menu so you can actually keep track of them all and OCD complete everything without leaving a stone unturned.

...while part of me is glad to have this 9 year mystery finally somewhat resolved, the majority of me wants to find whoever thought of this and give them to King SwiftTomHanks Baratheon to launch out of a catapult into the sun.

I feel so dumb.

As long as they keep the characters from Mk9 in and don't replace them ill be fine. Add more characters, stages, finishers, etc.


Whatever they want to do with the story I could care less. I just want the whole cast from Mk9 to be selectable in versus/ladder/online plus new characters from Mk4 on up.


Also, make the online at least as good as Injustice and ill buy ten copies.
