Need advice on d3/4 spammers

After ANY poke in the game is blocked it becomes your turn.
Erron's d3 is -2, and -1 from some ranges. If Erron does two d3's in a row:
  • If Liu tries to d1, Erron's d3 low profiles it
  • If Liu tries to f4, Erron's d3 beats it out
  • If Liu tries to b1, Erron's d3 low profiles
  • If Liu tries to back up and whiff punish, Erron's d3 hits him
  • If Liu tries to jump forward, Erron's d3 catches him
  • If Liu tries to njp, Erron's d3 catches him
The only things that work:
  • A perfectly timed d3 will trade with Erron, but Erron will be more plus than Liu and can take his turn
  • An instant reversal backdash
  • An instant jump back
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like you can take your turn after blocking this poke.

What a day. What a lovely day.
Shimmy just outside the range of their low pokes and punish their whiffs with a low fireball until they are conditioned to block then go in with your godlike mids?

Thank you all for the responses.

@Evil Canadian
Thank you for understanding the "feels" ;D I guess I didn't take b4 seriously because it is 18f. But yes it is the move with the longest range.

@MagicMan357
You CAN spam down pokes in MK. It is called "online gameplay".

@LaidbackOne
In the original post, I just explained about that. A 9f mid vs 8f lows. Can't be done on reaction, only on read. Not to mention the whiffing risk.

@OzzFoxx @gam224
Well yes. But hop attacks require good timing. Good timing requires a good read and if that read is done correctly why not just punish with f4 and go for higher damage?

@Wigy
I was disappointed when I didn't see the insulting meme. Please reconsider. :)

@Rip Torn
I've tried block, dash up and f4. It sometimes work, usually on the players who love to whiff punish Liu. Their idea is to back dash and whiff punish.
Counterpoking beats all pokes.
1. Block the poke when its likely their turn and follow with:
  • short hop 3
  • walkback B3/B4
  • JIK after blocking is very hard for them to AA and basically guarantees pressure /combo.
  • counter poke, most pokes are -5 to -9 on block so you will win the trade if you block and D3/D4 guarantees followup pressure after micro dash.
  • buffer flykick/low fireball.
If you are having problems with this you are not doing it properly or fast enough. The game is built for these reactions to stuff pokes.

What about throw? Range specific?

If someone out ranges me with their pokes, I will either :
  • Dash block my way to them and block low knowing they are going for D3, which then gives me ample time to go in with F4.
  • Depending on the range, B3 works great. B34 might whiff if max range but you have your turn back and can go in for pressure
  • Jump in kick if Im at the range they D3/D4
  • Low fire ball when you are just outside their range
  • LK's D3 could be an option since it has a lot of range too
