Mortal Kombat: Legacy Season 2 NOW LIVE!

LionHeart V1

You will feel deaths cold embrace
Shang Tsung and Scorpion were the only good actors on this. If this director is going to make the movie he needs to recast almost everybody that was in this season. Especially the Kitana actress. Her line delivery is godawful, and that's the directors fault as well. And why the hell is everyone saying "FUCK" all the time.

The Raiden episode alone from the first season was better than all 10 of season 2. IMO.

If you liked the Raiden episode, then I honestly can't see why you didn't like the "changes" or the acting in season 2. IMO...
  • Kung Lao was awesomely portrayed, and Brian Tee was great as brooding Liu IMO. Their acting was great IMO.
  • The Kenshi episodes were fun, and their fight scene was one of best, if not the best, fight of the season.
  • Scorpion and Sub's episodes fit nicely (probably the most perfectly) with last season, and though there was a lot of flashback in them, they flowed well. Sub's costume was my only issue with those episodes since it was more BMX than Lin Kuei, but their fight was pretty decent in the end.
  • I agree with you on the Kitana bit though. I do think her acting was a bit off , and her fight scene with Mileena left a bit to be desired since it was so short; Fatality not with standing (best of season 2). Overall though, there were good moments in those episodes, and they fit well with last season too.
  • The swearing was a bit much IMO, and did feel out of place (even though for the longest time most fans were asking for swearing). On the swearing piece, I feel that the majority of fans got what the clamored for.

What? I didn't call you a hater, I asked why you hated it.

If you have valid reasons for not liking it that is fine, but you are hating it seemingly for not having a blockbuster movie budget, or even a network television budget. Anyway, nostalgia has nothing to do with whether or not I liked the season or not; for what it was it was well made and played well off the last season.

Again, why are you / do you hate it so much?
In that case

Terrible acting
Terrible writing
Terrible choreography
Terrible directing
No real plot line
Terrible casting
The list goes on.

I wont even criticize the effects or costumes cause that would be unfair consdering the budget.

You should give everyone an example of what you consider to have amazing acting/writing/choreography/directing so they have a point of reference and can decide if your tastes/opinions are anything they can relate to. But you have to be referencing something that's on the same scale as this, otherwise the reference won't make any sense.

By the way, casting is directly related to budget, so if you aren't judging based on budget you can't judge the casting.

Finally, the plot line was there - not liking the plot line is different than there not being one.

BTW I'm not saying I liked or disliked this season.

You must have missed it. Sharknado was his bar...and MKL Season 2 missed it in his opinion.

Honestly, I can't disagree more. Maybe Kitana and Mileena were lacking in the acting dept., maybe even Stryker (what there was of him), but KL, LK, Shang, Kenshi, Sub, Scorpion?

Acting was great IMO; choreography was to the point; plot good but the pay off was bad; and the cast was what it was. You're entitled to your opinion, but ultimately I just think this wasn't for you. Whether the characters and/or the story just don't fit with your tastes, or it all just went over your head, regardless, for what it was...it was very good.

Are you kidding Casper Van Dien looked 55 years old. No Johnny Cage i know is 50. Its terrible casting and OMG ITS JOHNNY RICO was the only point in his terrible casting. Lui Kang was the only passable acting.

Having JC be the "over the hill" D-list actor, rather than the ex "teen heart throb" sits well with me. And FYI, JC being cast the way he was just hammers home the fact that this project is suppose to be something a little different from just a rehash of the regular MK story. Maybe it is a tough pill for you to swallow, but this is just different.

And having KL be closer to his OG persona is EXACTLY what I've longing for since MK Shaolin Monks. Mark Dacascos nailed KL more perfect than even NRS did in MK9 if you ask me.

people still think they watch a golden globe tv series??? this season 2 is so good. but Scorp-Sub fight scene is so lol.

Get staffed bro
Well it had some great key moments but overall it felt kind of disjointed. Johnny in s1 was way better that's for sure.

During the tense moment between Tsang and Lui in the restaurant, I really wanted a waiter to ask them how the food was for some reason.

How's my volume?
It's kind of funny, a lot of people mentioned an overabundance of swearing but for some reason I can only remember one scene with swearing in it. Shows how much I was paying attention to the dialogue.

Pig Of The Hut

Day 0 Phenomenal Dr. Fate and Darkseid player
So I loved episode 3 and 4
Overall really enjoyed it but absolutely hate shit endings and this was a shit ending

Lao actor and raiden actor were atrocious especially Lao

GGA 16 Bit Best actor was Kenshi and Liu was actually not bad for his screen time

I really despise when directors have large events happen but fail to show it, they cop out and show the result of it. Example Kenshi in the cave w ermac losing his eyes . Wtf? That build up for him leaving the event w no eyes??

I guess at the End of Die Hard they should have had Bruce Willis shoot the bad guy but no show the bullet hitting Hans Gruber and immediately cut to him and his wife leaving the tower w the press waiting

Ignoring the wife almost falling w Hans, Hans reaching for her leg and his gun, etc

Because stuff like this existed in MK legacy2 I give it a C- because nothing is more obnoxious . Show the scene develop, especially when u build that scene up for 4-5 mins (60% of an episode)

Let's go green!!!!
wow this was definitely entertaining. I tink i like this one better than the first season. I took a stab at it not expecting much and ended up enjoying it. Kenshi FTW!!! I would definitely love to see a season 3 in the future.

Noob
Just finished watching...I thought it was alright but like others said before it could have been better...

I didn't like that they changed actors but I guess they couldn't do anything about that. Kenshi fight was probably the best but that Ermac was lame. Also idk why they started speaking english in the Sub-Zero/Scorpion episodes when they spoke japanese in season 1...

Best ending? Definitely the Scorpion fatality
