Mortal Kombat / Blood Storm (Mugen)

I like Mugen, but the character "feel" isnt good enough. I like to feel like I have control of my character and feel the hits that I give my opponent.

Mugen doesn't produce that. I know it is made to be generic. But, I need a nice crunch or something for fux sake.

But this game does look cool as hell, excellent for a fan game(I could only FUCKING IMAGINE what kind of a response this would get back in the arcade days). MK chars in mugen feel stiff and "floaty" at the same time.

We got MK characters to feel pretty damn arcade exact at some point but ultimately the code is too cluttered and garbage to deal with.

Seriously, whoever made this game is fucken awesome! every thing was redone, sprites and moves were reanimated, and the stages were remade.
This looks great.

A lot of my vision of recreating and adding to the MK gameplay is in these vids, some of it is overdone but it's extremely well done overall.

Looks like they edited the mk mugen project a lot.
man, those combo's are crazy like marvel vs capcom 2...

the only problem I see with it now is the combo's looking a little like the MK3 mugen project..which is not good.

It kinda combines the 3D moves that the characters have and the 2D arenas with the Shaolin Monks "Fight" Voice Clip. I like that when they do 2D gameplay, but 3D animations. Love this and thanks Raging for posting the other ones he had.

I finally got an answer from the dude how posted the vids on youtube, he says that the game will be soon available for download on a website.

finally contacted the guy, he says there is not a web site up on it yet but there will be one shortly.

He told me his mugen had over 800 mb.......wow

Yeah, I read that in the guy's profile. It's 800mb for the quality of graphics and sound. It may be nearly a gig, but I'm willing to make use of whatever space I have left on my hard drive with that game.
It probably might take days to finish downloading, but when its done, it will be worth it! :lol:

It's probably mostly due to musics and such, if they including everything from every stage in mp3 you're talking hundreds of megs of music. They also added a ton of graphics of course, sounds for every character I'm sure.
