Ye, I know. I dropped the argument, it was getting repetitive: I say something, you say I'm wrong and say something else, I reply the same way and so on and so forth... I still think that you are a downplayer and that there are too many kabals balancing this mod, while you still think that I'm misinformed and stubborn, let's keep it that way.

I haven't followed everything in the mod and I'm by no means a high level Kabal, but...

I think the iagb needed to do slightly less damage, I think the flash parry was a bit much, and the only part of the pressure that was a problem was block infinites he had on certain characters.

Honestly, I think his pressure was fine except for that. There were opportunities to poke.

not kabal's balancing.. it's people who knew how to play every char at a high lvl balancing. It would be a problem if people that didn't understand characters were balancing imo

No, no plans for that.
And no way is known to separate Quan's boosts. Sorry.
If you can't separate them then would it be possible to tweak the probabilities so you'll never get the health boost when you have over 70% life, and you'll never get the damage boost if you have under 30% life? That way it wouldn't be a waste to use by bad luck when you have high health or low health, you'll always get whichever one you'll definitely have a use for.

And are there any plans to eventually balance the boss characters and add them to the roster?

not that I know of, I haven't found anything regarding the roulette yet.
As for balancing the boss characters, that's definitely there, but it won't come next update. Maybe after that? IDK. One challenge would be to reenable the jump and the jump attacks (they are there in their scripts, but seemingly disabled)

@NSR I found a small bug: if you activate the boost as Quan and then do a trance, you can do another boost before the cooldown ends.

Couple things.

Why change TK input to DD3? The only reason NRS changed the FF inputs on anything is because MKX doesn't have dash cancelling. so FF3 would have come out as a dash in that game. MK9 doesn't have that problem. There's no reason to change telekick from ff3 to DD3. At all.

Cyrax - decrease active frames of regular bombs by 4. There. No more resets. this has always been the solution. If the bombs blew up before the damage reset, then the damage wouldn't reset.

TK input was changed because it was possible to make it come out by accident when you are trying to use F3. (and keep in mind, F3 was buffed, so there's even more of a reason to use it now) So yeah, there's a reason why the change was done.
Mind you, REO and the other players' sugesstion was DD3+4, but it's never been discovered how exactly the actual kick/punch work in the inputs. So we can't add or change/substract kick/punches. We can only modify the directions used, and can only modify or substract, but not add.

I haven't checked the Quan Chi bug Sassolino discovered. Mainly because I felt burnt out after 1.25, but I'll get back to it.
Related to that, I haven't started development on 1.50.
I wanted to let you guys know that I'll be likely starting work again on May (pretty much from the beginning of May).
I felt you guys should be notified of TE's current status.

This is fucking goooodlike. You gave my boy Noob exactly what I wanted (B121 starting a combo and being faster)

I just built my own pc and downloaded the komplete edition the other day so Im definitely going to be checking this out. I know you said in the OP that theres no download links here and I havent scanned the last 13 pages yet so would I find the download easily by googling "Mortal Kombat 9 Trilogy edition mod" I assume?

Thanks again, MKX has completely burnt me out and me and my roomate will surely enjoy this for our kombat fix

good news, the Quan Chi bug shouldn't be devastating:
the buffs do not stack at all, it just resets it. even the duration gets reset.
Essentially, you have to land a buff on Chi, and then trance the opponent + execute the summon buff command on Chi.
the only unintentional side buffs this grants is:
-Being able to reset the duration of the buff (which doing it while the opponent is not tranced is very risky to do in the first place)
-If using non EX Skeletal boost, it allows you to change health or damage buff for the other one...if the roulette feels happy with you. There's always a chance you wanted damage, but you got health again, instead, or vice versa.
So, It shouldn't be game breaking, I assume.
I'm still going to take a look at this later, because it's really odd how NRS programmed the Skeletal Boost.

you mean your PC isn't powerful enough? you could try editing the coalesced ini to make the graphics look worse so that the game runs properly.

guys, I should give you also an idea of what TE 1.50 is gonna be like: As you know, TE 1.25 ended up polishing up about a half of the roster. TE 1.50 is essentially going to polish the other half of the roster.
What are future patches going to consist of? I'll cover that in the demonstration video.
