I tried out the new PC version, played 1.5-2 hours, haven' encountered any bugs.
Messed around with Stryker in the practice mode, he's a lot more fun now than the KE version. I managed to fairly easily get 35% mid screen off of his b32, it's a nice punisher now for blocked teleports and tele-lifts and similar moves that are very negative on block. Completed an arcade ladder with him, had no issues, alt costume/color_1 used.
I also messed a little with Kitana in the practice mode. Her pretty kicks remained OVERHEAD. I thought those would be changed to regular MIDS. Against a crouch-blocking Mileena her regular Pretty Kicks completely whiff (go over Mileena) 50% of the time if not more. The first kick of the enhanced version whiffs often as well. I think changing this move from overhead to regular mid, but increasing the hitbox to avoid whiffing would be a good way to go.
Finally, I messed a little with Jade in the practice mode. Encountered no problems, but I just now realised that you cannot perform two enhanced boomerangs of the same type in a row. For example, if you do b, f+1+blk and try to follow it up with another b, f+1+blk, a regular version of the boomerang will come out, instead of the enhaced one. Same thig happens if you try to do two enhanced low boomerangs in a row- first one will come out enhanced, but the second one will come out regular. However, I was able to perform two enhanced boomerangs of different type in a row (like high then low or low then high). Odd, but it's probably the same in the non-modded version as well.
I'm kind of puzzled now that the armor has been removed from Kabal's enhanced nomad dash and the regular version can be cancelled, what's the point of using one bar for the enhanced version. I checked his frame data, and if I saw well, the only advantage of the enhanced version is that it is slightly quicker (13 frames compared to 18 frames startup, but both are -31 on block). Maybe it should be made safer on block now, to compensate for the loss of armor?
Similar with Sonya's enhanced kartwheel. Since it no loger has armor, the only advantage remaining over the regular version is that it does 3% more damage when performed naked, and adds 1-2% extra damage in combos. Not very useful for one bar of meter, I'd say. Both are -3 on block, maybe the enhanced one could now be 0 on block and recover slightly quicker on whiff to give more pay off for that one bar invested?
