We are not "forcing" anyone to donate. This thread existed before the site crashed, thats why i re-created it cause it was lost. For me and Hidan its a great oppurtunity to go the US to compete against you guys, but travelling from Greece to the US is no simple task in terms of expenses. Its not like travelling around the US. It means alot to us to come over there and meet, play and hang around with you guys, so if you help us out we ll be really grateful. Maxter, thnx alot for your kind words, cant wait to play your Cyrax and your JC, if the donation drive succeeds.

Just a little disclaimer first and foremost: My stance would be the same if American players were looking to get out to a major in another continent too.

If Texas was more local to these guys I'm sure they wouldn't need to ask for help to get there. They're all busting their asses off trying to make this happen as it is, Hidan, Metzos and Foxy had to pass on our recent European major because they knew they wouldn't have been able to afford going to i46 AND MLG. Starcharger himself said it best "I'd rather have 10 seasoned players than 50 lousy players". Yet, now all of a sudden you wanna cheap out on a bunch of local jabronies that are bound to go 0-2 just for the sake of getting 128? Thus further increasing the chances of "the same old top 8" everyone apparently frowns upon seeing?

I'm not putting anyone on blast here, just the point at hand is that a little help from everyone goes a long way. Just look at EVO. If you don't want to donate, you don't have to, and I personally would much rather it be left at that than everyone coming up with a bunch of reasoning that doesn't add up at all.

Local jabronies lol, 90% of KH will body you and pot monsters going to Dallas, my point was that I feel we should get our scene there before we worry about others, there a handfuls of top players not confirmed yet from all over the us, 5 UK ppl won't be hype if it's a 40 man tourney and with 20 KH players going

Please enlighten us. BTW we valued everything everybody did for us last time, it was a great trip despite all of the bad stuff that happened to us (even before we left england for myself & glue).

And as I've stated before, upon winning anything I'll pay it right back to all contributers.
