Guide MKXL List of Skin Unlocks

Could you elaborate on what's unlocked in XL by default as opposed to the original release? For example, are the Revenant skins unlocked by default? Hot Shot Johnny? How about many of the Kombat Kard boarders, icons, etc? Kustom Kombat modifiers?

I only ask because I might pick up a console down the road (Have the PC version now), and if I do, I'd likely pick up XL as well.

Only DLC pack skins. Wow, this pisses me off. In the trailer it shows mobile skins and says in huge caps "ALL IN ONE PACKAGE"

You have to fucking unlock the rest from mobile game and krypt. I was a pc player too and just got PS4. I unlocked all krypt items on PC and lvl 50 on all factions. I HAVE TO DO IT OVER AGAIN....because WBID has two separate versions for Steam and Playstation Network.

Okay, that's what I figured. As a PC player as well, should I get a console and the game down the road I'd need to unlock everything as well.

I really wonder then if, down the road, they'll release a proper Komplete Edition.

Don't worry I jumped from a full unlocks Steam account to PSN and I unlocked all the online skins (hotshot and the revenants) using only part of the ps plus 2 days free trial (online opposition seems to be easier in PSN than in Steam, it may be related to everyone trying new characters for the first time so it might get harder over time) and WBID works perfectly from Mobile so if you had those mobile unlocks you will keep them.

It sucks to have to unlock everything again, but at the same time you can still say that you got your skins with your skill and not for free and it's not so time consuming if you already were skilled enough to get Hotshot on PC.

Cool, good to know. I ended up getting Hotshot Johnny Cage on PC due to boosting with a buddy, and a random who clued in on what we were doing so we helped each other out.

However it'll be about a year before I decided if I want to snag a console or not, so this is still a while away for me.

I vaguely remember getting it easily in 10 games but I could be wrong. It's just what I remember doing a few weeks ago on a new account, and I thought I read Kitana Prime doing the same when he got a PS4 not long ago.

I've heard some of the unlocks are buggy and may unlock earlier (or not). For Revenant Kitana, it was a thing were most people were _not_ getting the unlock pop-up, the skin just unlocked at the right time.

For me though, I _did_ get the pop-up (but I did not for Revenant Liu Kang).

So it's possible you did unlock it earlier!

I just can't seem to unlock Hotshot Johnny Cage. I got 10 wins on survival online, and on another occasion I got 12 wins in a row and it still didn't unlock. WTF is my game glitched? I have done it before on another gamertag but once I created a new one, that's the only one I can't unlock. I'm not doing private matches, I know they have to be public.

I wish they had an alternate method to unlock the Hotshot. My connection also sucks major ass at nights so no luck there either.

I've had the same fucking problem. achieved a 10+ streak several times and still no hotshot.
