Zoning is an important dynamic of any fighting game imo. A fighting game would be incredibly boring if every single fighter had the same fighting style, e.g. rushdown, grappler, zoner, anti-zoner, and so on... If you know this than why don't you play a different game that hast 1337 zoning and a non scrub community. Are you mentally handicap?Mortal Kombat X will have limited to no zoning thanks to the abundant scrubs of this community.
And you never will. From a spectating stand point zoning is incredibly boring to watch. NRS isn't going to market something that appears boring, when Zod and Martian Manhunter were announced NRS didn't release videos of them showcasing their zoning abilities, they showed off their trait and some combos.im yet to see any compelling zoning in the MKX footage available so far

why ? Ds was too easy to zone with , you could go for 20 min in practice mode , learn his specials and go online win matches . Zod or freddy are hard to use , u have many tools and need to work with all of them to be good ,also special inputs play a role , It takes a while to be consistent with getting freddys far spike out.
I don't think we are seeing projectile trade here, I believe this is clone's property - the reason why we keep hearing that MKX ice clone "can be used as shield" from many sources.That bug crawling on the ground is one of D'Vorah's projectiles. I'm wondering if this is just a property of Sub Zero's clone or if everyone will have this mechanic.
Never use online wins against random morons as any sort of basis of perceived balance or imbalance. Versus the majority of scrubs on online any player with slightly average ability and game knowledge will win with just about strategy.
