MKX XB1 "The Loading Screen of Death"

In my testing since the patch I haven't had one LSoD, BUT i also haven't been able to connect to a single player. Which seems to be a thing: -
- Quick connect > connections declined.
- Long connect > works normal
- 1/100 times quick connect, works normal.

As bad as it was at least I could play.

I tried online at least 30 times over the past hour or so, but i'm putting it down to the usual coincidence where it works well for a little then it just dies, and seeing as others still have it, it's clearly not fixed.

NRS, seriously.. fix this shit.

How can a company be so ignorant over something like this. Anyone would think SONY has paid off NRS to screw over Xbox.

Like I said before, this game might as well be a PS4 exclusive seeing as how any other version of the game is fucked up one way or another. And RIP last gen

Well today I didn't seem to get LSoD and was able to play again (it's been quite a long time). Used it to abuse Tanya's bug and get an achievement. That is all.

If I somehow continue to not get it tomorrow and onwards, I'll be a very happy man. DLC didn't bug not even once either.

PS: Online is still trash but I at least get to play :(

I'll be damned, its working for me as well! At least for the moment. Did some testing and the dlc doesn't seem to be reinstalling either. Maybe the hotfix did the trick. Hopefully it lasts and this issue is gone. Will continue to monitor and test will report any more findings.

Same here.. tried over two sessions and at least 10 or so connecting screens and no issues. I think it still isn't as fast as it was previously.. sometimes the connecting screen would barely show for 1/2 a sec, but compared to what it was it's heaven!

Will keep an eye on it, but hopefully this is fixed.

Curious to know if it was the hotfix or the patch?

Quick check this morning before school: Still no DLC issues and LSoD is not as bad (at most it`s 30 seconds now). I didn`t reboot the game because my Xbox is on quick start-up mode so I`ll do that when I get back home to see if I get a long Updating Game Data screen

THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD WE MIGHT MAKE IT!

Yea. But can't say that things aren't looking bright even for at least these first few days.

Didnt take as long as usual the 3 times I have tried!! Less than 1 min each time! Dare I say this is fixed for now?!

Fat lady isn't singing yet. Yes, we can indeed play online now but there is still a significant wait time on the game's start-up and apparently DLC issues isn't solved yet although it didn't occur to me anymore since.

I'll keep trying and keep you guys updated.

But man I can't express my happiness enough about this. I give major props to @theotherguy who probably put the most effort into this than anyone. @call ME damo also put a lot of effort despite the counterproductive bashing so I have to give him his props.

And lastly, thank you EVERYONE for helping me keep this thread alive so it doesn't just get swept under the rug. @K7L33THA @DownfouralitY @Sultani and really everyone.

We're so close. We can win

Yea I'm still not convinced its fixed. I do still get the long updating game data screen (about 1 min). And the Connecting to online usually takes around 1-2 min as well rather than connecting right away like it used to. But at least its not the 5-10 minute hell that it has been. No DLC issues for me so far.

well i did that herrms trick of manage game as soon as you boot and i could see the dlcs installing. Im not bothered about that though its just good to be back

Been a week and still running well. Looks like they finally did get this in order.

Now if only they can stop screwing around leave things as they were as of the previous fix so I don't get Challenge Declined messages I'd be happy.
