Question MK9 Rollback Mod?

Is modding Rollback Netcode into MK9 on PC possible? I've seen a lot of talk about a remake/rerelease on here and Twitter and while that would be cool i doubt that is coming anytime soon, so the next best thing would be to mod Rollback into MK9 ourselves
Just asking since i haven't found any signs of anyone trying to mod it in but maybe i just didn't look for it the right way

It is impossible. We would need the source code or NRS's toolkits. There was attempts to improve netplay thru MK9TE with some memory hacks but it just can't be done without full reverse engineering of the game
