yeah some recover fast enough to block. it isn't really that unlikely that you would anticipate a projectile and just throw out the teleport, though, especially with this sort of reward. i mean...at worst you eat an uppercut from most characters, at best you take 90% + damage and leave them with no meter. that is pretty skewed risk/reward if you ask me.

True, but the only place you'll be seeing this is online with the easily beatable Scrub Lao's. The patch is soon anyways, so I wouldn't worry about this so much.
 
So wait, your justification for an infinite is that Kung Lao's teleport is slow, and that a small selection of characters can counteract it from being a punisher? Really? Please tell me I'm misunderstanding you.

I'm not justifying it, I'm saying it is not a big deal as people think it is. It's not very practical.
 
He already has one of, if not the slowest teles in the game. This infinite isn't possible if you do this one thing called blocking. Nobody should ever be caught in this. If they try this you can just block the first Tele 3 1 and if they go for it again you can just punish appropriately.

Pretty simple concept. I swear people need to understand certain thins before immediately crying nerfs.
Yeah. Solid plan. If you hold block all game you cannot be hit by the game breaking infinite. Surely the Kung Lao player won't find a way to damage your block from range.

You could easily remove all infinites by making repeated moves in combos do what ermac's telelift or scorpion's spear does after they hit twice in the same combo.
 
Yeah I actually don't see this being a major factor either. As far as I can tell there is no safe set up for it, you just have to land a guess teleport that you probably won't be able to hit confirm into the second teleport. Since it starts with 2 rather than 1 i don't see it being very useful as a punish.
