MK9 - Kung Lao Infinite (By Doc)

DoctrineDark

Too little, too late...
Hi, I discovered the infinite combo of Kung Lao. if the opponent has 1 bar can be achieved by 49% before you get the possibility of breaker. if the opponent does not have any bar, 90% can be achieved. All this by the repetition of the combo, is not required enhanced or X-Ray, but I leave it to your criteria, can also combine X-rays and create more destructive combos.

just when i thought i wouldnt catch any more flak for using Lao thanks to the patch....then this shit comes up lol. Oh well, just another day in the life of a Lao.

So it didn't come from his spin or dive kick? Swell... It's like it was inevitable that Kung Lao be patched in one way or another.

I really hope this is hot fixed ASAP. It may be too late for the big patch but this is just as bad as Cage's jab infinite.

WOW !! I'm out of words !!

I wish for theses nerfs on Kung Lao:

1) Less pushbak on his spin so that most characters can punish him properly.
2) More startup time to his teleport, which will make this infinite no lon longer possible.

He already has one of, if not the slowest teles in the game. This infinite isn't possible if you do this one thing called blocking. Nobody should ever be caught in this. If they try this you can just block the first Tele 3 1 and if they go for it again you can just punish appropriately.

Pretty simple concept. I swear people need to understand certain thins before immediately crying nerfs.

once the first hit lands i don't believe u can block the rest, even though the tele is slow, it can still be landed in the right situation

Ok, no offense, but did u actualy take time to learn to punish his spin? Most, if not all, characters have some action to a whiffed/blocked spin. But, now #1 is coming true and they ARE reduceing the pushback on his spin by 90%. Nw it's going to be easy mode punishable, by just lettinggo of block...sorry but this is a really dumb nerf in my opinion...

I know that the spin is punishable right now, but the window is so small that most of the time, the Kung Lao player gets out of it unpunished...
If #1 is true, then my wish was clearly very realistic haha.

Now, nerfs #2 and we're set.

this isn't really true. consider that many characters HAVE to rely on zoning KL out if they want a chance in hell of beating him. this will clean beat almost any projectile. you shouldn't be punished for throwing a projectile by losing 90 some odd percent of your health. what is more, this looks absolutely retarded to spectators, which is terrible for the tournament life of a game.

Iirc, KL's teleport is 67 frames so he would have to literally be a psychic in order to punish with this infinite. I don't see it being too practical. I'm fairly certain Noob, Kano, and Ermac can recover fast enough to block a psychic tele.
