There are plenty of competitive threads, heck, we even have a competitive forum that you can freely browse. If you want contribution, then go ahead and contribute and create a thread. If you don't like loosey-goosey threads like these, then don't click on 'em.

I didn't think it deserved its own thread, but I have thoughts on this whole Joker thing.

This will not be the Joker we are getting come next January.

This is the ultimate opportunity for NRS to go balls out with a DC character finally. I feel like he's going to look completely different by the time we get him. Keep in mind, he's over 5 months away still. They won't leave him looking like an Abercrombie model who found his stepmom's makeup kit.

At first, I was hoping we'd get the NEW 52 look, but how would shit like Baraka's first Fatality work on him? His face was already voluntarily cut off and worn as a mask. This would apply for a lot of the Fatalities. Furthermore, I imagine they want him to remain fairly humanoid in appearance, for the most part.

Anyway, by the time we get him....he will not look like this, I can almost guarantee it. Think about how different Aquaman's face changed from the first INJ2 trailer to the final product. I'm sure NRS wanted to get this trailer out ASAP to appease people. I wouldn't worry too much about it. He'll look great when it's all said and done, mark my words.

Sorry to be that guy but I have to say that New 52 Joker was whack, glad they aren't paying any attention to that design. I didn't hate the writing but the face thing was so stupid. He looked so much better in Endgame from the same writer. I also really like his design in the current Tom King Batman, but I stopped reading that right before the Catwoman wedding.

But you are right, he's going to look way better by the time he is released. Honestly he looks a little out of place quality wise, similar to our early sightings of Aquaman like you said and Sonya, or even Cassie in MKX. The other characters look great though, so I wonder if this isn't a consequence of them seemingly replacing Ash in this pack with Joker on "short notice".

I honestly only mentioned New 52 Joker because that's the most disturbing/gory version of the character, which is what comes to mind when I think MK.

Endgame Joker would be dope, though. I feel like that's the look they were going for with the Leto Joker, and then dipped him him honey and rolled him the fuck around a Hot Topic store for a few hours to ruin it.
