I feel like this deserves it's very own thread because the wake up system in Injustice/Mk9 is severely flawed imo. It sometimes feels like I am being punished for putting my opponent in an okizemi situation and it can sometimes become a big guessing game in my opponent's favor and I feel like NRS needs to change this, so I have a few ideas. I feel the person who earned the knockdown deserves to be put at an advantage over their opponent, I am not saying take away their wake up options, just limit them.
When you are performing a wake up attack:
-you should be taking a RISK. If my opponent predicts a wake up attack they deserve to get rewarded with a punish.
-you should NOT be plus on block for obvious reasons
-you shouldn't have multiple invincible wake up attacks
-if it hits it shouldn't put you at a big advantage over your opponent
-It should NOT give you a free 50-50 if your opponent blocks it (lol batgirl)
