Well I need to figure out which train(s) to get, and I'll probably need somewhere to stay since apparently my train journey is 15 hours lol. I might need a ride from the station nearest HoG since I have no idea where it is or if I can even get to it by the train I'd be going on. Just everything at the moment

depends on release and availability of people. That seems most likely. I imagine the regular sessions will still continue, at least on a monthly schedule if not more frequent.
When you say your journey is 15 hours, surely you mean there and back? Yeah forget that, google maps is 'avin' a laff. The train service website says it's 6 and a half hours from my station to Acton Main Line, so 13 there and back. That's if I were to just stay on National Rail lines and pay for my ticket in a one-er. I don't know if changing over to the Underground could make things more complicated/expensive but I do know it has a stop that's closer to HoG.

Possible change of plan, it seems getting a plane and bus is cheaper than a train. I'd be flying in on Friday. Phosferrax where do you live? So I know where to go from the airport, unless you're close enough to pick me up from Stansted?

I live on the opposite side of London than both Stansted and HoG lol. But yes I am much closer to it than Stansted.
