I live in eastern Wisconsin, and was basically wondering if there are any scenes for this game anywhere other than Chicago over here. My town's completely dead.
It's pretty far out of the way, but I played a 22 man tournament in Apple Valley mn about 2 months ago. Said he was planning on getting it going regularly but I haven't heard anything recently. :/
I live in the Milwaukee area. There's a Wisconsin FGC Facebook group and discord set up, and I know I've seen people on there advertising for small locals. It's mostly SF and GG, but there's probably a mix of other games as well.
