Didn't know that, thank you.thats cuz you cant do mb grapples back to back. only in the demo
Yeah I've played against "Unknown" who plays Scorpion and that same move randomly drops the MB when he is trying to input it so yeah maybe only Certain characters for Certain moves have this issue?Yeah, I've had it happen with scorpion's MB spear sometimes even when I press square once. I think it's character specific though, I haven't had it happen with anyone else.
I experience drops without pressing an attack input after...And the players I play with at my weekly local have also noticed the issue I'm discussing here.If you press an attack input after getting the special to come out, MBs will not work. It's weird...I noticed it when I learned that you can mash the attack input after doing the directions in a special to make it easier to get wakeup attacks.
Do you use Stick or Pad?This is the reason I hardly ever use b12 with Raven. If I do b12 into Singularity and MB, it usually doesn't come out.I'm fine mashing MB any other time though.
Pad. It's fine in practice, but online I never get the MB version.Do you use Stick or Pad?
not true. i double tap MB and it works fine.Meter burn only works if you press it once. If you mash it and press multiple times the meter burn wont register. With sanwas this can become troublesome but you must train yourself to only hit the button once.
OK thanks, I use stick, I'd rather people look at MB drops in offline settings however because drops online could simply be due to network connections, the issue I'm referring to I'm speaking about in purely offline settings. I tested it myself in practice and Lantern's Lift was also working fine. It seemed when the computer was programmed with inputs and I was going for Reversal moves and then trying to MB that's when I experienced drops. "Unknown" mentioned that he experienced drops with Scorpion mostly in the middle of COMBOS.Pad. It's fine in practice, but online I never get the MB version.
Which character do you use and do you use pad or stick?not true. i double tap MB and it works fine.
That's true. The move that I'm referring to specifically (Lantern's Might) has a huge window for MB however. So that fact isn't part of the issue here. There's certain moves that you only have a small amount of frames to MB. GL's Turbine is the best example.
In that case, you could be tapping the MB button too soon. That's true. The move that I'm referring to specifically (Lantern's Might) has a huge window for MB however. So that fact isn't part of the issue here.
I play a nice Hitbox Flash.snip
No, let me emphasize that MBing this move is not difficult AT ALL so long as the input is registered by the game. And I'm not so new to the game that I don't know MB timing for my MAIN's most important move. Again, in regular practice mode without any recording it was working fine EVERY TIME out of 50 attempts the last time I was testing it. The only way I would be hitting it too soon for that move is if I hit it before the move connects, which I never do.In that case, you could be tapping the MB button too soon.
OK, I'm trying to get a feel for whether this thing is influenced by characters, controllers, or systems.I play a nice Hitbox Flash.
